"We had a lovely stay for one night. Very clean and well equipped room. Can’t fault the facilities. Plenty of parking especially for larger vehicles. Breakfast was great and cooked well. The only slight negative was the bar closed early at 9:45 instead of 10pm as advertised, we were told this was because it was quiet. Though there were plenty of people in the bar area drinking. There were people who had the same experience checking in after us. We were looking forward to a drink after a long day travelling. Other than this, no problems and I would highly recommend this hotel though."
"Outstanding and caring staff optimised our stay. Gorgeous food and it was great to chat with the owner.
Suggest an EV charge point for guests would be an enhancement. There was a commercial point just a couple of miles away in town, but being able to charge overnight would save time in our day and make sure we were ready to travel around visiting the region.
Only minor inconvenience was the shower: needing to be handheld is not a ‘luxury’ feature as listed - if they could be properly wall mounted, it would be perfect."
"Great location but very noisy in our front room at the weekend with revellers coming out other pubs. Staff all really helpful and can't do enough for you. Plenty choice at breakfast"
"Lovely hotel in a very beautiful setting . The delux room was large, clean and very comfortable with an amazing river view.
We found the restaurant food mixed but it was very convenient. Steak pie was the best meal we had. Bar was small but cosy with good service .
We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice too. Overall a great stay and we will be back ."
"Free street parking outside ,easy check in and spacious room .Very good restaurant in busy bar excellent value well cooked meals .Breakfast had good selection of cooked breakfast and usual range of cereals."
