Spacious spotless apt with fantastic view of the bay. Great location. Supermarket is virtually next door and the food in the Italian restaurant opposite was excellent. The buses are frequent and reliable and cheap. We used them to get to Puerto Mogán, Maspolomas , Las Palmas and Puerto Rico. The walk along the coast to Puerto Rico is very pleasant and about 4km. We did this daily.

It your looking for a quiet & friendly aparthotel with excellent sea views and a large balcony this is for you. The highlight is the extra large very comfortable sun loungers, no annoying music around the pool. There’s a bar/resturant and a library. I just wish the pool was warmer.

We had a great stay at Idyll. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff if extraordinary friendly and helpful. The pool area is calm and has what must be the islands best sundbeds. Breakfast outside with sea views was perhaps the daily highlights. The only small improvement area is the beds as they were very stiff and it would have been good with some warmer sheets. We had to sleep with clothes on. Overall great stay, will be back here for sure!

This was our 3rd visit to Idyll Suites and we are not normally people to return somewhere. Pool deck and sun beds are awesome, restaurant is great & right next door is a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants. We took the bus to Mogán a couple of times - the stops were 200 metres from the hotel. Room was excellent and balcony perfect. Really a wonderful hidden gem on Gran Canaria (& the transfer by taxi from the airport takes about 40 mins.)

Great stay. They replied to my questions before I even got there. Esther (at reception) was very friendly and helpful. These were the best sun beds I’ve ever used anywhere. The suites are not really modern but spacious and clean. Very nice balcony. The only thing I would say is that there was not AC just fans but we stayed late September and managed fine. Restaurants very close and a Spar (grocery store) within minutes. Parking (since we had a rental) was under the hotel and great!

Nice hotel

A really nice hotel, but placed a bit away from city life. So if you come for a nice relaxing time, this is for sure a really good place. Espacially the adults only makes it a pleasent stay If you wan't easy access for sightseeing, the public bus stops only 100m from the hotel, with good and cheap connection to many places The area is basicly a lot of apartments and hotels, and a small center with bars and restaurants. The hotel though is absolutely worth the money, nice interior in the rooms with cleaning 5 days a week. You also get a private balcony to the room. Full kitchen with fridge/freezer is really good, easy too have some food stored or making yourself a nice meal A warmed pool with jacuzzi and lots of sunbeds is also available

A perfect place to relax and unwind

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and it was obvious that nothing was too much for Esther and the rest of the staff. The accommodation is large, bright and well laid out. The balcony is massive with more than enough room for table chairs and two sun beds. The view from our balcony was lovely too. The pool area is kept clean and tidy, there’s a life guard on duty everyday. Each guest is given an extra large soft thick towel to cover their sunbed, a pillow and a towel for use after the pool. The sunbeds around the pool are extremely comfortable, I notice they varied in size from the average width to extra wide, which was lovely and like laying on a single size bed; plenty of room to get comfortable, with space around you for things like your book and in my case my drawing pad and pencils as well as my book. There’s a restaurant by the pool which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner which we used occasionally, the rest of the time we alternated by eating in one of the various restaurants just outside where there were several restaurants, cocktail bar, live music in the square in the evenings a nail and hair place and a chemist and a Spar shop where we bought our basics as we made our own breakfast and some lunches in our apartment which has a nice kitchen area with fridge, oven, hob, coffee machine, kettle toaster etc; we enjoyed sitting on our own balcony. The buses from outside the hotel run regularly to all the nearby little towns, villages and beaches, taxis are good
