"Beautiful grounds, comfortable room, there is a restaurant on site so you don’t have to worry about getting to another place. There is no airport shuttle but they can order you a taxi for about $20. U.S. stayed twice and would stay again."

"Beautiful location. Gorgeous sunsets, really nice pool, food was very good and the room was fine. The included hot springs were absolutely gorgeous and a highlight of our trip. I was a bit surprised there was no air conditioning in our room but realize that this isn’t widely available and wasn’t really necessary once it cooled down at night. We paid for a few of the additional adventure park activities (water slide and night hike) and they were excellent too. "

"Internet was terrible not working most of the time. Shower head terrible even after they tried fixing it. Toilet was leaking and making noise. Doom was not sealed properly so bugs came in. Toilet door squeaking. No mini fridge on the room and had to beg for one. No microwave coffee pot or blow dryer. No electricity in the bathroom. Tv was not working well and couldn’t connect to our Netflix account (we could do it in other hotels in CR) the Jacuzzi was boiling hot on the night we wanted to use it and no one could go inside (including other guests) but i think it was ok on other nights. The breakfast was not tasty at all! They managed to ruin even the scrambled eggs… the only plus on this hotel was the pool but i do not recommend staying there. "

"Great place to stay and enjoy the peacefulness. Incredible and thoughtful staff (Connie and her husband who are managing the property are the nicest people, who obviously love and enjoy what they do), unbelievable views, great like home-made food. "

"Spectacular property and a beautiful room and restaurant. Very accommodating and friendly helpful staff. The tubing experience was our favourite excursion of our trip. We did find the garden tour lacking due to the timing of what was active in the garden. Overall a spectacular stay with the thermal river and all wildlife being the highlight."

" A long and bumpy ride up to the lodge. As soon as you check in they force you to pay for breakfast as you are disoriented and tired from the ride. You are told you are not allowed to decide in the morning if you are even hungry. Paid for two for breakfast. In the morning only one could eat breakfast because the other was sick. Asked for a refund for the one, two weeks later never received it compensation. Also Couldn’t even open my balcony door because the outside smell of sewage. Paper thin walls where you could hear everything next door…Too bad as place has potential. "

"I stayed at this hotel many times in the the past landing in Liberia Airport and it has been a decent stay. My most recent stay I booked a standard king room but when I arrived they said that they no longer have the room I booked and offered a renovated double room on the top floor which I took. I arrived at 3pm and there was a line to check in and the process seemed to take extremely long despite having all three check-in desks operating. The renovated room was definitely much nicer than their aging rooms, but the water pressure was very weak and the water was neither hot or cold. There are a few good restaurants and cafés within a 5 minute walk which were a plus."
