"Great location, refurbished rooms & lots of space in the rooms."

"Arrived at 2pm for check-in and was told our rooms weren't ready. Reception tried calling housekeeping and claimed they were unavailable, despite the entire team being visibly gathered in the bar area a short distance away celebrating a birthday. Not a great look when guests are waiting during the check-in period. 10 minutes later both rooms were suddenly ready. Unfortunately, the problems continued. We booked two rooms and neither had working air conditioning despite outside temperatures reaching 32°C. The rooms were around 26°C, humid and uncomfortable, making sleep difficult. When I raised this with reception at 2am, they seemed surprised despite multiple recent reviews mentioning the same issue. After a poor night's sleep, we were moved to different rooms the next morning where the air conditioning worked, although it still wasn't particularly cold. I was offered complimentary breakfast as compensation, but this hardly made up for paying for rooms that lacked a basic advertised amenity. The rooms appear recently renovated but are very small, poorly lit and have a noticeable musty smell. Overall, the hotel feels much closer to a budget motel than a 3-star property. Breakfast at around €16 per person is poor value. Coffee comes from a syrup-based machine, the hot food selection is limited and appeared to have been sitting out for some time, and there are only a few pastries, cold meats and yoghurts available. You're far better off finding a local café."

"Hotel is well maintained, great if you are with kids as it has a playground where kids can play while you enjoy a drink in the outside bar. There is also an outdoor swimming pool which conveniently was open while we were there given the unprecedented heatwave. Staff is very nice and helpful The hotel is a bit out of the way so make sure you book breakfast with them as you don't have any other options nearby. The restaurant in the hotel is slightly overpriced but given the lack of alternatives, a decent dinner option"

Disney Davy Crockett Ranch

"Very disappointed with cleanliness of our cabin: on arrival floors were dirty, en-suite bathroom was dirty, towels were dirty. The en-suite door handle was broken. We highlighted all these issues at reception. They gave us new towels and swept the floor but didn't address other issues. The sink also smelt of sewage and everywhere was generally dusty. We did enjoy the communal areas at Davy Crockett including tavern, saloon, golf and badminton but overall experience was not good so would not choose to stay here again."

Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris

2/10 Terrible

"Booked a cottage through Expedia, which we have done many times before for Villages Nature. We were given our accommodation number at the gate, and set off to find our cottage, only to find that we had been downgraded to an apartment, with no discussion or communication. We spoke to guest services who said that we needed to pick up with Expedia as they can't tell what accommodation type someone has booked as the two systems don't align. They acknowledged the incorrect accommodation, and agreed they would look to resolve however we never heard anything more. We chased 3 or 4 times and gave up. Very poor customer service and does not doesn't reflect what you would expect from a typical centre parcs."

"So this was booked at very last minute and you kind of get what you pay for. It was cheap and it was ok. If the hotel read this, then my biggest gripe was looking out of the window of our room at the glass roof at eyeline with our room and there being thousands and thousands of discarded cigarette butts. To others reading this, I’m sure there are better areas to stay. There was a feeling of probably best to stay in your room after dark rather than venture out."
