It involved a long ramp to reception, a loft and some slopy paths and another ramp, so it was accessible but a little long winded to get to our ground floor apartment. "We turned up expecting a comfortable apartment based on 3 star rating and wow!, absolutely shocking from the start. Went to the so called lobby? It was a room with a bar type desk. The man in a sweaty t shirt gave me the key and off I toddled to the room. First impressions set the tone and walked up to the first floor dodging the broken tiled stairs and into the apartment. Pictures will tell the story but the mixer tap in the bathroom only ran hot, no plugs and the toilet brush was horrible....

"The hotel was excellent and well situated on the main road in Mojacar overlooking the beach. We had to go down stairs to our too and in the evenings it was very dark. The automatic lighting needs to activate more quickly . We would definitely revisit and also book other Parador hotels. "

"This small hotel is set in a lovely location right on the beach with sea views and a laid back feel. The outdoor bath was a lovely feature. Patricia greeted us warmly and her service was excellent. Breakfast was a la carte with many choices. My only criticism is that we were not given a complimentary bottle Of drinking water in the room which I would expect in a hotel of This calibre. "
