Its position on the beach makes it worth paying extra for a room with a sea view. I did that at check-in and I felt it was money well spent. I've been three times to the Continental and the staff are always cheerful and helpful and the breakfasts, particularly the buffet, is excellent. Parking is easy if you go slightly off season, and if you don't have a car, there is a local bus service that stops right in front of the hotel gardens and car park making access to everywhere else easy.

Great little hotel in Mojacar

Our room was fabulous. Brilliant views overlooking the sea and a perfect little sun trap,even in January. Staff were lovely,nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

Friendly welcome, comfortable beds and beautiful sea views with balcony. Small quiet hotel. Good range of breakfast selection, continental and small hot selection. Lovely pastries and bread. Fridge and air con but no facilties for tea/coffee in room.

The making of this hotel is it's fabulous location on the beach. The front of the hotel is on quite a busy road so rooms at the front can be noisy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good. Rooms are very clean and spacious. This was our second stay and we will be back xx

Gem of a Hotel on the Playa

This was the second time we have stayed here, will definitely book again. This time we opted for a beach view which did not disappoint. The rooms have everything you need; clean, nicely decorated and a fridge. Breakfast is lovely with freshly made cooked eggs, bacon etc on demand with the benefit of a good buffet style continental breakfast available. Biggest benefit is that is not a huge hotel like most on the playa; the staff make you feel welcome.

Stunning location.

The views and location of the hotel were fantastic The sea view rooms are ok but could do with some updating. Not a great deal of power from the showers especially when others were using them. The pool view rooms were very nice. The breakfasts were amazing and the sea views from the dining area were brilliant. Everything was very clean and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Overall a fantastic stay at Hotel Continental and beyond our expectations for what we paid. The staff work extremely hard to keep it one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever visited. Breakfast is awesome and the ‘Cafe Solo’s’ were amazing. Our room looked directly at the sea which was stunning to see every day. We had a great new year there thank you.

Reliably good value - our fourth visit

This was our fourth stay here. We had a sea view balcony again. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Good breakfast as usual. We like this end of the playa - quiet but close enough to reach a good range of bars and restaurants. It’s in the bus routes to garrucha and the pueblo as well as the indalo end of the playa. We will book again

Nice enough staff, comfortable enough bed, pillows not great. The breakfast very basic. Exiting by car onto the road a bit hairy. A combination of a steep slope, bend in the road (from the left) and overgrown shrubbery.
