"Easy check in, Elise at front desk friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds were ok, not uncomfortable but not excellent. The spa water was COLD. Really wanted to use it after a long day driving."

"It was a serviceable Motel when we needed one. I was very glad we found a last minute place when our tent was ruined in some high winds. The water pressure in the shower is amazing, was great for getting the camping dust out of my long hair. However the shower floor tile had bad mildew and the old curtain let water leak all over the floor. Overall the boron Motel is inexpensive and served us well in a pinch, but overall it’s pretty rundown and would not be my first choice in the area. "

"We have stayed here several times over the years. It is a family run older hotel that is nicely updated. Very roomy. Quiet area close to Edwards AFB. "

"Quiet and clean room with kitchen. Nice room. Staff at front desk were unfriendly and not professional. They acted like they hated their job. Not my concern but a reflection of the business. "

"The woman at the front desk was very nice and very capable and checked me in quickly, and even got me a room on the ground floor, which I had been unable to book online. I have my 65 pound dog with me and she’s quite comfortable in the room. There’s a great steakhouse within walking distance. This is a great place to stop when you’re on a road trip."

"Nice huge, king size bed. TV worked fine. Unfortunately the person or party upstairs were incredibly inconsiderate most of the night regarding noise. Person kept walking around. Walls are clearly too thin to block things out. Train came by more than once, that didn't help either. I'd say 4 stars is more than fair, all things considered."
