"The hotel and room were immaculate and well-maintained. However, the facilities were not clearly explained at check-in and the bedroom’s limited space made them difficult to locate or overlook. The breakfast restaurant staff were efficient and friendly but their speed occasionally overshadowed the overall atmosphere. We recommend informing guests that a superior room can be noisy, in addition to the noise from the roundabout. This was not communicated and it detracted from our special anniversary stay. While we appreciate the hotel’s gift, the first impression is crucial and the key wow factor was diminished unless a significant additional charge was paid."

"We stayed at Falkensteiner Resort Lake Garda beginning August 2 and had an absolutely incredible experience. We knew the resort had opened only about a week before our arrival, so we were a little nervous about what to expect, but everything exceeded our expectations. The staff, service, facilities, pools, restaurants, rooms, spa, and gym were all open, finished, and beautifully done. The rooftop restaurant views are impeccable, and the buffet restaurant had some of the best food we experienced anywhere on our trip. The complimentary breakfast was a true five-star experience every morning, nothing continental about it. What stood out most was how well the resort caters to children. It was the best family resort experience we’ve had anywhere. Our kids loved the indoor slides and outdoor pool and honestly refused to leave. After we went to the JW Marriott in Venice, all they talked about was wanting to go back to Falkensteiner. Our room was amazing, though there is still some construction visible if your room faces the outside perimeter. My only suggestion would be adding a regular shuttle or golf cart service to downtown Salò. The lake is an easy walk, but the main shops, restaurants, and ferry pickup are farther, especially with kids and summer heat. Overall, this was a true 10/10 stay. We cannot wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for your incredible hospitality."

"Easy and free parking, comfortable air conditioned room, nice breakfast and friendly staff. In short, a pleasant place to stay in the countryside. It’s not luxurious but ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for solid accommodation. We didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked nice. The restaurant on the premises served a delicious pizza and there’s a view of the lake from its terrace."

"Room cleaned every day. Staff were excellent. Underground Parking a bonus, out of the strong daily sun. Situated on a quieter area with no passing traffic Right in front of lake. View of the whole lake looking across to town. Would highly recommend this to stay. Very Happy. Sadly we had to leave early, due to a serious family illness at home. However, Owners did give us a voucher for the unused day's to usevover the next year."

"I very much enjoyed my stay. I was on my own. The hotel is quaint and lovely. Beautiful courtyard and very relaxing. Good breakfast. The room was very simple and not fancy. No view out the window but that was unimportant to me. Everything was clean and functional. The staff was very helpful. I particularly want to point out the young receptionist from Montpellier who went out of her way to make all guests feel welcome. It is nice to see that young people can do work study programs at such a hotel to learn the craft of hotel management and customer service ! VERY WELL DONE"

"The location is incredible, in a quiet area, overlooking Lake Garda, surrounded by mountains, the absolute perfect views both day and night. That you can sit around the pool sunbathing while gazing up at snow topped mountains really is something special. The rooms are brilliant, modern, have everything you could possibly want, are spotlessly clean, well maintained and have a good range of facilities. The bar and restaurant area is fabulous, a really cool decor, immaculate, well presented and with an extensive menu at a good price. The cocktails are amazing (I would recommend the Mojito!) We’ve stayed there 5 nights on our last visit and have eaten there every night, the food is so good! Children’s entertainment is fab! There’s a good schedule of activities through the day, even in low season and fun entertainment at night. The best thing about the site, however, is certainly the staff and what brings us back! They are so warm, welcoming, kind, friendly and fun! Just the kind of people you would want to meet! We have had amazing experiences and lots of help from Frederica and the team in reception, who is fabulous, kind professional and so helpful (even when things don’t go right, Frederica can fix it!). Veronica and the team in the bar are so super friendly and make every visit an absolute pleasure. The children’s entertainment team, particularly Hera, are amazing, so super-fun and make all the children on the site feel so welcome. Totally would recommend this place! "
