In all my trips to the North Shore I’ve never done the Ka’ena Point Trail! It’s pretty flat, so not a very strenuous hike. But definitely wear solid shoes and not flip flops. There’s no shade or protection from the wind so wear your sunscreen and bring lots of water. You’ll see TONS of native wildlife and plant life on this hike. We saw a munk seal! And the postings along the trail are very informative 🌈
