I stayed there recently for 4 night and it was my second time there. We had a half board (breaktfast and dinner). The buffets were good but not great however the a la carte choices for lunch were great ( and I would highly recommend the Cobb Salad or the BLT!). The room was fine however the warm in the shower was warm but never close to hot. The staff were very good.

We stayed for a total of 4 nights in March, 2026. Our room was good however the room cleaning was in the afternoon rather than the morning. We had half board and the buffet food was good but not great. The a la carte food was very good. The water in the shower was warm but never hot which was disappointing. The beach area was very nice however often all the loungers were taken. The staff were very good.

The rooms were falling apart with paint peeling everywhere you look or touch. When we took a shower, it was an enormous smell of sulfur coming from the drain or water. The bed had bed bugs because my wife has small bites all over legs and arms even though we didn’t see a single mosquito there.

This is an older property that has not been remodeled in a decades. That being said, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly but the service, especially for food was slow. Typically an hour to get food ordered off the menu. The food was fair and inconsistent (I ordered a hamburger 2 different days. 1st day, good, 2nd day, terrible.)

El personal es excelente. Personas sumamente amables, muy atentas a cualquier inquietud y muy accesibles. La habitación es muy espaciosa. La cama y almohadas son cómodas. Sabanas muy suaves. Un hermoso balcón. La comida es buena y variada (régimen de media pensión). Lo único que no me gustó fue que como yo no había contratado el régimen con almuerzo, en dos oportunidades quise almorzar ahí mismo y me lleve una decepción porque se demoraron 40 minutos - 1 hora en traerme unos calamares la primera vez y unas ostras la segunda y eran platos muy pequeños. Tal vez mejor comprar una pizza o sandwich.el resto todo excelente

The place is tired and lacks a lot of things you usually get at other hotels. No sun umbrellas around the pool area they rely on the trees for shade. The waiter service is poor there too as you have to seek out a waiter and then it takes ages for food to arrive. At breakfast the bacon is kept hidden away and you have to ask for it whilst everything else is self service. Items run out and aren’t replaced. I will not be staying again

Rooms were clean, spacious, working AC and staff cleaned on a daily basis. Meals were deliciously prepared, loved the Swahili station. However, there needs to be a variety of drinks and desserts especially during tea time. Waiters also need to be more proactive in assisting guests. Most importantly, the hotel needs to provide activities for guests. The bars are boring, drink menu is very limited and no activities to keep people engaged.

The rooms were dumpy, we booked full board but got charged for water we drunk at the dinner table, our room had a fridge that didn't work, they promised to fix it on the second day we got there but they never fixed it. They advertise the place having a spar but there is no spar. We felt cheated by false advertisement.

From the moment we arrived at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after. Every member of the team was warm, attentive and incredibly professional – nothing was ever too much trouble. What stood out most for us was how personal the service felt: friendly smiles, remembering our preferences, and always checking that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. They created a relaxed, homely atmosphere while still being very efficient. The room was spotless and well presented, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the facilities are excellent – but it’s really the people who take this hotel to another level. We left feeling very well cared for and would happily return. Highly recommended.
