This is a good place and I would happily recommend to others. Couple of small blips on arrival but after that, despite being a beautiful and pleasant location, it really meets expectations, the staff are it’s greatest asset, helpful, polite, knowledgeable and more.

There’s no doubt the resort is lovely. The staff are incredible and the gardens and beach are nice. I do think it’s disappointing that there aren’t more affordable options for families though. If you can’t afford the 2 bedroom suite, which most probably can’t then the only option you are left with is the king room with either a king bed (presumably for the whole family) or two double beds. Now this is fine for an adult travelling with one child but it’s too small for two adults to sleep together...

A lovely property with charming staff who really want guests to enjoy themselves. The private ferry to the island is charming. The property is lovely for walking. Meals are not great, but solidly good, with some nice weekly features e.g. Fiji Night, BBQ. In May of 2026, there was no beach at all which came as a big surprise (apparently the result of a recent cyclone, but management never acknowledged this). Thus there was no beach to walk on, and there were limited loungers along the rocky part...

Very nice welcome at the resort. Rooms/bures are very spacious and equipped. There are mosquito nets at all windows and 2 showers, one inside and another outside. Freshly baked shortbreads filled in room every morning and very nice beach with free snorkel trips every day

Good property and good location. Service at the Nuku restaurant could be improved a lot.

We love the stay at Malolo Island Resort. Everything worked perfectly for us. We were impressed that wifi connection speed was good at the public areas (much better than a 5 star resort we stayed in at Denarau Island). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Thanks to the Operations Manager and Resort Manager for the warm welcome & send off at the jetty, as well as looking after all guests well during the stay. Serenaders were excellent!! We really enjoyed their...

It was a great experience. Alot of construction going on with the expansion, so room this time wasnt the best in terms of view and sound, but they were respectful and the staff as always amazing, pool amazing and food amazing

We loved our trip and would highly recommend this place for families. The Fijian people are probably the friendliest nation I have comes across. We hope to be back soon.

Really nice property and very helpful staff.

The garden setting, friendly staff, small hotel, home-cooked food, hand crafted cocktails, great advice and assistance in finding local fun things to do.
