"Room was clean but a little worn in a few places, and walls were a little thin (heard neighbors too much), staff was friendly and had good suggestions on local restaurants"
"This is a lost gem. Very beautiful the staff is amazing. This is an older Hotel so keep that in mind but the nostalgia and area makes this a wonderful place to stay."
"Pros: Overall its a great stay. Large room (Creekside Suite). You feel very embedded in nature with the log cabins and creek throughout the property. Full kitchen, stove, no oven. Full size fridge and freezer allows you to save money by bringing your own food. Very clean. I love sleeping with the sound of the creek right outside my window. The hot springs were lovely. The spa was wonderful. The staff called every day to make sure I had everything I needed. I saw a herd of deer every day I was there (spring).
Cons: Shower water pressure is poor. I tried to take a free fitness class the hotel offered but when I showed up, along with one other person, no instructor ever showed up. Instead I worked out in their gym which was insanely hot (85 degrees) so I didn’t stay long. Lastly, the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on in my entire life (though I barely slept because of it). Hard as stone. Maybe it was just my room. I was in physical pain every single morning because of it. I unfortunately cannot stay here again because of this. Instead of being refreshed for my trip, I was utterly exhausted when I got home."
"We loved the manager Kathy, she was extremely friendly and helpful! It was really special having the hot tub and everything was clean and tidy. We loved our stay there we will hopefully get to go back in the future"
"If you pay by debit card they WILL charge you $100 on top of what you are paying to Expedia that was not mentioned on Expedia nor did they tell my husband when we checked in. Old motel trying to fix up. Bed was old and low to the ground, pillows were horrible, make sure you close the bathroom door if the curtains are open or everyone will see you. Check the coffee maker before using, ours was filthy and the refrigerator made a horrible noise. Every room has a triangle cut out of the door, so your room will NOT be dark. There is a switch to the outside light that we found later but you will still have quite a bit of light in your room.
But if you are in need of a cheap place to sleep it will work. "
"Nice, simple accommodations. Clean room, comfortable bed. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Neat retro motel!"
