"AVOID! Do not go anywhere near this con of a property, if it even exists. I booked it and had not been sent in check in details. When I get there, as a lone female at 10pm at night, it's nowhere near obvious where this place is and I cannot get hold of them to find out. I had to book somewhere else and Expedia have now told me I can't get a refund because they can't get hold of the property either. I'm taking it further. "Location is great due to the free public transportation! Staff was friendly and professional. Special shout out to Mary for the wonderful conversations and care, not only at checkin but also tending the bar. Room was just right for 2. The bedside tables could be a little bigger. The room was way too hot for me and the climate control didn’t seem to work at all. Plus the light it gave off was too bright and facing the bed making it an annoyance if you’re light sensitive at night. Lastly there is construction going on all around the hotel and they tend to start around 07:00. So if you need to sleep in, it may be a problem for you."

"We enjoyed a relaxing over night stay at Maimuhle. The big double bedroom overlooking the vineyard was beautifully rustic, high ceilings, exposed beams and soft lighting. All of the staff were professional and the receptionist/head waitress was professional and spoke English. We had a delicious and generous dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed all you eat scrimp and mussels with a local white wine. The buffet breakfast had a wide choice of eggs, smoked salmon, cheese, cold meats, fruit, yoghurt, juices."

There are good restaurant options in the small town that are great too. Only change would be using less intense lights in the hallways at night, they were very bright."

"Location is like an oasis in the countryside, situated in the middle of a pristine golf course. Family room was spacious and impressive - the first 2 storey hotel room we’ve stayed in! Swimming and spa facilities were great, however was unstaffed so had to bring own towels from upstairs. Breakfast was scrumptious, although to be charged afterwards was a bit of a surprise (we were told it was included at check-in). Overall, a lovely relaxing stay at the end of our European road trip."
