We mentioned it was my son’s birthday, and the housekeeping staff left candies and a birthday balloon in our room—so sweet! Great breakfast buffet and decent dinner in the hotel restaurant. "The hotel is in a super location on the lake, with stunning views. The hotel rooms are quite basic and dated. Carpets in hallways dirty and threadbare. Restaurant food was good, but service over our 5 day stay was incredibly disappointing and impersonal. We were constantly chasing staff for service, which was very annoying. The breakfast set-up is poor, disorganised and no one really in charge to keep things running smoothly. The pool and spa area are lovely and definitely a highlight."
