"I had a very pleasant stay at the resort. I booked one of the small cabins (queen bed) and it was very clean, shower, WC, and A/C worked well without any problems. I had a cute tiny lizard keeping me company in the cabin - perks of being in the jungle. :) One guest mentioned the noise from the highway - the cabins aren't noise insulated, but the traffic is way less compared to other American cities. The pool is not that deep so it's totally safe for non-swimmers and the pool area is well kept. I enjoyed just laying around, reading, and floating in the water. On the weekends they offer pool day passes to non-guests which is a nice touch. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Gene recommended a lot of activities and sightseeing opportunities available to tourists. Plenty of parking was available and I was allowed to park close to the cabin. I cannot say anything about the restaurant, since I ate outside the resort. For my fellow European and North American travelers: this is a Belizean hotel and standards differ from your country. But I am sure you as well will enjoy your stay here."

"Poor organization no coffee in room no glasses no sugar. TV don’t work. Telephone doesn’t work, , Boat did not work. Waste of time to say there , unintelligent, on their website room rates are higher than HOTEL.com 90$ less Hotel is for locals to have picnic"

"Jaguar Creek was an absolute gem!!! Not only is the location spectacular, but the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful and relaxing. Onsite there so many beautiful plants and a couple of hiking trails that are recommended to really explore the area. The food is delicious and the menu changes daily. The cabana was clean and neat and I just couldn’t get enough of the location. Mostly, the nights were quiet but you do hear the howler monkeys from time but it just adds to the experience! I would recommend Jaguar Creek if you want to get away in nature and experience something extraordinary. Will definitely return to enjoy again! Thank you!!"

"The whole place was amazing! The cabins were bare bones but clean and cute. We had a porch in the back right by the rainforest, but wished there had been comfy chairs to sit on instead of a small, hard bench. The bathrooms were clean with some interesting insect life to observe while sitting there. Showers were hot and good pressure. The Toucan Cafe up front was superb - we ate every meal there. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Fridge and coffee maker are available for guests. There is also a biology-oriented library that also had some interesting travel guides for Belize, a gift shop, and a lab where the researchers work. The staff was super helpful with all the questions we had. The grounds are large, with orchards containing a variety of fruit trees, and there are some nice hiking trails. One goes to a "swimming hole" on a creek that is not deep enough to swim in but certainly wonderfully refreshing on a hot day. We used the cabin as a base and only had to drive 20 minutes to the Inland Blue Hole and river kayaking, and 15 minutes to Billy Barquedier National Park where there is a short hike to a waterfall. There are several restaurants nearby on the Hummingbird Hwy, as well as an ice cream shop."

"Simple accommodation which does the job and has cooking facilities. A cafe and shop are across the road. Most taxi drivers know the place and the staff are helpful. What more can you ask for?"

"Outstanding resort and grounds. Entire staff was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed the service and fresh food at the Grove restaurant. Hiking, biking and kayaking activities made our stay a wonderful experience. At night they had candles lights around the grounds. Very beautiful property! "
