"Outstanding hotel! Gorgeous art collection, amazing food and drinks. Staff were friendly and provided excellent service. They definitely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Communication with the hotel in advance of our stay was prompt and extremely accommodating. La Plage their private beach club was a highlight. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a luxury experience."

"The location of this hotel was great. 15 min walk straight down to the Promenade and less than 5 mins to train and tram stations. The staff were lovely, very friendly. The small outside garden/pool area was lovely. Never busy and a great place to relax. We reserved the room with a balcony but it was a tiny balcony and there was limited storage in the room itself. No drawers and only one cupboard with 2 shelves and a very short hanging space, no use for dresses. The photos looked like lots of drawers but the design of the slightly unusual furniture was actual just false drawers. We had a slight issue with a damp smell in the room. I did speak to reception about this and the girl thanked me for letting them know but nothing was done or offered to address the issue which was our only downside with this hotel."

"Staff was pleasant. They provided beach towels and umbrella. Much appreciated. However, the lack of adequate air conditioning in our room made it difficult to sleep. We were given a fan and the option to change rooms, as several guests had checked out. We opted to stay. The refrigerator in the room was very, very small and seems to have been fixed at the lowest level (fresh fruit spoiled overnight). No cooling for drinks. They had a very tiny ice-maker (about 12” x 12”) in the lobby, which quickly runs out of ice. It is a remodelled older building which makes it very quaint with small rooms. We liked the place; they just need to address these issues. Other than these issues, we enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed at Le Meridian for 11 nights, two adults and one child. The best part of this stay was where the hotel was located. Beach was across the street, Starbucks a 5 min walk, good restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, markets, and designer boutiques. Ubers are able to pick you up directly in front of the hotel, trains and public transportation are also nearby. It was really hot during our stay. The AC was ok. It could have been better considering it’s a four star hotel. Housekeeping missed our room a few times and we had to address this with the front desk. I do want to give kudos to Nila, room attendant. She is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. She responded right away and took care of our room when it was skipped by another housekeeper. Very friendly and always had a smile on her face. She made our stay more pleasant. Overall we had a good time at the property. I do recommend and would be back."
