This hotel is truly exceptional. It surpassed our expectations in all regards. I would have liked the pool to be heated year round, but even here, this closure was clearly and publicly communicated by the property, and the remaining hot tub alone provided a great experience. This is truly amongst the best of Canadian luxury hotels.

The restaurant was excellent and the staff was very accomodating and professional. The decor was elegant and the bed very comfortable. We did find the room had a smokey odor, not sure if this was because of the fire place. I would also suggest the hotel offer non scented soap. We loved our stay and we plan on returning.

This was a gorgeous property, close to the village without being in it, which I prefer. Service and staff were outstanding. Even though it was a quiet week, I didn't get the sense that they cut back on amenities and service. The on-site restaurant was excellent. Loved our lake view of the room.

What we liked - everything. What we wished for when we left - staying another night. Quintessence Hotel is aptly named. Accommodations/ room was fabulous. Service is attentive, personal and friendly. Amenities are great. A memorable break made more so by this exquisite hotel. Can't wait to come back.
