"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. We were attending the New Wine festival at Shepton Mallet so needed somewhere to sleep! We didn't use many of the facilities as we literally got up & left for the day but there were plenty of facilities available! We slept like babies in the comfy bed! Lesley was a very helpful hostess & communicated often. She's even posting me back an item of clothing we left behind! The accommodation was comfortable, there was parking available too! We would highly recommend...

"The Walnut Tree is the finest example of a superb family-run hotel and has the highest standards across all its services. I received a lovely welcome at check-in and was shown to my room (rather than being directed) and given a summary of services and mealtimes. I was there for 3 nights and had dinner on 2 of them. Credit to the team of chefs for beautiful food and a well thought menu. Parking is plentiful and felt secure and despite my room facing a busy road, it was quiet and comfortable and I slept very well. My trip was for business and I would not hesitate to book here again if my work brings me back this way. Thanks to Daniel, Sophie, Chelsea and everyone else on the team for my welcome. Lizzie"
