The property itself is so elegant and stylish with unimpeded views across to the mountains. The deck, pool and gardens are peaceful and full of beautiful sculptures. Our room, Room 4 was spacious, light and airy with a secluded private deck. A gorgeous place to stay within an easy walk to town with all its historic homes. But best of all were the delightful hosts, such warmth and so friendly and genuinely wanting to help in anyway and ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Great breakfast.

Room 1 is extremely spacious, has a nice kitchenette and an outdoor shower. It’s extremely clean and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful, with nice Mountain Views. Breakfast is served by the pool. Fresh bread, cheese, jams and juice are self service, eggs, omelets etc are prepared to order and delicious. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. A dinner booking was made for us in a very good restaurant nearby upon our arrival. That was a very nice surprise.

Wonderful guest house

It was wonderful! My room was extremely comfortable and well equipped, beautifully appointed and private. As a woman on my own I felt very safe. I could walk to anywhere in Montagu and was told about lots of trips and activities available. The pool is fantastic. Marty and Hanno were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. I would love to stay there again.

Very welcoming hotel in the heart of Montagu

We were made very welcome at this lovely hotel with views of the mountain range. The facilities and breakfast were fine and the room and patio very comfortable. Other guests we met had returned regularly, which is always a good sign. If we are in the area again we would not hesitate to stay here.
