Our third time to Montagu Vines. Have stayed in the luxury garden rooms each time and they are beautiful. Lots of attention detail. The rooms and property are immaculately maintained. It’s always a pleasure to return.

You know, we have traveled to over 130 countries worldwide and have never, ever, stayed in a place like this. In the most astonishing mountain panorama, here is the most extraordinary place that simply eclipses normal accolades. Superb, tastefully furnished accommodation, sparklingly even clean every window was simply dazzlingly spotless, fast continuous internet and once in a lifetime breakfast, (I mean a fully loaded version with everything). Even hot croissants. And the hosts are kind and engagingly gregarious. Medals all round!

I had a great experience at Montagu Vines. The property and my room were beautiful and the breakfast was a good as any I’ve had at at B&B (made even more enjoyable by the view over the garden and olive grove). Best yet was the personal care provided the owners Pam and “Ant” who are very hands on. I highly recommended Montagu Vines.

Wunderbare Unterkunft mit netter Gastgeberin in einer ganz tollen Lage. Bereits zu Beginn erwartete uns eine Erfrischung mit zwei Gläsern Wein. Die Zimmer sind modern und geräumig gestaltet. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Klimaanlage war relativ laut, aber die schöne grüne Lage bringt auch etliches an fliegenden Getier mit sich, sodass ein Fenster-Öffnen eher schwierig ist. Man muss hier also einen Kompromiss finden. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker und mit das beste Omelette unserer Reise. Dies konnte man in einem herrlichen Garten mit schönen Blick genießen. Unser Star war hier die Schildkröte. Währenddessen wurde sogar das Auto gewaschen. Die Lage war perfekt. 5 Gehminuten entfernt zu dem Nationalpark und 15 Gehminuten zu den Restaurants (wo man sogar nachts zurücklaufen konnte). Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

Our stay at Montagu Vines was absolutely delightful. The room was luxurious and comfortable, the breakfast ample and tasty and both the staff and the owners extremely helpful and caring. The setting and garden are beautiful.

Dieses Gästehaus liegt in einem riesigen und wunderschönen Garten, gepflegt bis ins kleinste Detail. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Vom Balkon beziehungsweise von der Terrasse ein herrlicher Blick in die Ferne. die sympathischen Gastgeber sind überaus hilfsbereit. Gern bleibt man hier länger.

Great setting and comfort in Montagu

We stayed one night at the Montagu Vines Guest House and really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts, Anthony and Pam were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They both enjoyed conversation and were perfect hosts. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The dining room overlooked the olive grove and very large garden. It was in a great spot, close to one of the mountain ranges. We would only stay at the Montagu Vines if we stayed in Montagu again. We highly recommend it...you will be looked after! Steve S

Beautiful setting

Montagu Vines is a very beautiful guest house, set in a splendid garden. The owners did everything they could to make us comfortable, especially in the light of my wife having broken her foot and having to cope with a plaster cast. They gave us a more accessible room, also with easy access to the Breakfast room. They teceived is with lovely cold drinks on a very jot day.

Montague Vines Guest House

A beautiful, spacious setting in lovely countryside right on the edge of Montague. Our stay started off on the right foot with the offer of complementary drinks, served in the shade of an ancient oak tree. Accommodation was very good, but for us the highlight was the magnificent breakfast spread, served on the veranda ! Hosts very friendly and chatty too !

Superb!

I highly recommend Montagu Vines. It’s a tranquil, immaculate and high standard guest house in extensive grounds with lawns, an olive grove and small lake. Sun loungers to relax on the lawn with a plunge pool to cool off in and our hosts Pam and Anthony served afternoon drinks to end the day. Our room was modern and stylishly furnished, the breakfasts were lovely and Pam and Anthony are very helpful and engaging hosts. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
