"A gorgeous hotel in a prime location for exploring Lake Garda! We decided on a perfect balance of exploring and relaxing at the hotel, enjoying all the facilities that were on offer! The spa was so relaxing, and the staff were all so friendly. Reception kindly helped us with arranging scooter rental to head up to Limone and a private boat tour with local companies - both were amazing experiences! We were spoilt for choice of food on offer at breakfast, and we had dinner at the bar two nights in...

"Location location location. This one ticks the boxes. Just inside the bridge onto the island it is right next to the shops, bars and restaurants and next to the ferry pier. Everything is a very short walk. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the water and ferry pier. Well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is old and classic historic in some ways and a little tired in others. The only negative was the AC in the room did not cope with an early June heat. We set it to 19 but the room never got below 23 making it difficult to sleep at night. You can’t have the windows open as there are loads of flying insects hanging around. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone. "

"This is such a lovely place to stay, very family orientated. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The property, grounds and pool were spotlessly clean. You need to have a car to stay here really if you want to get anywhere as it isn't really walkable to much. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which has everything you would expect and includes a full size fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The site is gated and you are given the code on arrival. Parking is away from the accommodation, but within easy walking distance. The grounds are lush and green and very well cared for. They have a very good recycling scheme whereby all your rubbish has to be sorted and deposited into the correct collection bins that are provided at the main entrance to the site. We have stayed before and will definitely stay again. "

Enjoyable stay

"Great hotel generally, and this was our second stay. Service was generally good and the staff work hard. The only exception was when we ate at the hotel in the evening. Limited options for families/children and waiting staff stuck us in the opposite corner of the restaurant and made clear their displeasure at our attendance close to closing time. "
