Monte Cristi National Park

We have stayed at all Excellence properties, so we were excited to try a Finest property. We stayed in the Excellence Club which is adults only. The experience was a 10/10! We started each day with a beach bed set up by Algenis. He is the best! Always a smile and so friendly! He spoiled us our last day with champagne and sand art! Gilberto was a top notch waiter at breakfast and dinner at Brass. Rony was the best bartender in the club bar. Be sure to get his special espresso martini! The staff was friendly and always greeted you with a friendly hello. We will definitely return!

Room was in need of complete renovation ! Bed broken , tv broke, blew a fuse , , make up mirror light didn’t work , shower head was bad … seriously the room was in such poor condition ! Housekeeping was great - room always cleaned beautifully ! They are understaffed and the restaurant service reflects that. Food in sports bar took 2 hours to come to the table. They explain a lot why things are not good but explaining doesn’t help . Selling the stuff on the beach is out of control - very aggressive people - constant - you can’t enjoy the perfect weather when they are hawking all the stuff to buy … so bad!!!
