"This is not a tourist Hotel. It is a hotel for other purposes, that is, private rendezvous. The building seemed new and purpose-built for discreet rendezvous. It is all rather strange and somewhat disconcerting. That being said the room was clean and very quiet. Although there was a bit of a mildewy smell. The staff were helpful. It is close to the highway and not too far from a grocery store and McDonald's. But the Google map directions are somewhat confusing as it is located off of a Boulevard. Instead of advising a u-turn it takes you into a neighborhood with small streets to turn around. I think it should be a bit more transparent as to the purpose for this hotel "

"Ive stayed there many times over a 26 year period. Its always been very good. Rooms are excellent, spacious, clean, missed the minibar being stocked but thats all. Comfortable beds, heating/air con great, lovely fluffy bath towels, great power shower. Breakfast is truly excellent buffet, English and Continental. Evening meal was part of a package arranged for my friends who were with me, and 2 nights it was frankly inedible. The restaurant relented and let them have the á la carte on the last night, but this is the reason for my 4star rating. Also Breakfast on Wednesday, 3 coach loads of Japanese tourists came in just for breakfast. Ive never seen so many Japanese outside of Japan. For guests, getting even a cup of coffee took 30 mins and forget getting a table. So this was disappointing too. But overall very good value and nice to see restaurant manager Luis still there after 29 years! "
