"La camera era piccola, il 3 letto era una branda priva di abat-jour e di interruttore, per comodino una specie di bidoncino. Lo split per riscaldare era rumoroso, arredi datati , ambiente un po' squallido. Molto bene il ristorante purtroppo il televisore acceso disturbava molto e inutile la nostra richiesta di abbassarne il volume . Personale gentilissimo e disponile. "This property abd location is absolutely unique and is ‘bucket list material’ for sure. The small appartment has excellent hotel standard and the view from the room is breathtaking. On top og that, the whole concept of living in the once abandoned and now revigorated, small and beautiful village, Pentidattilo, is a great experience! The service is superb! Really recommend this place!"

"The rooms were spacious and very clean. The property is very conveniently located about 50 yards from the airport. We literally walked to it to catch our flight. If you have a rental, rhe drop-off is also very close by, about 75 yards. The staff/owners were also very friendly and made the check-in very easy."

"High standards in everything, from comfortable beds and pillows to shower head and decorations. Salvatore was a great host, going the extra mile with his recommendations about Reggio Calabria. Unfortunately we didn't had much time but for sure will return and stay here again 😀"

"The great thing about this hotel are the staff and the location, a short walk from the train station. The staff is so accommodating and wonderful - they are there to help you with anything you need and are always polite and cheerful. Rooms are absolutely beautiful and they keep them clean! I will absolutely be back whenever I go to Reggio Calabria again! Truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! "

"Very beautiful building with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty with many choices. The staff was very personable. There was some construction going on in the building which disrupted my husband's sleep about 9 AM. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Got back from the Bagnara two days ago and had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Grand Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help and make my stay enjoyable. The hotels restaurant serves one of the best pasta dishes. A big shout out to Mirium and Perier who most helpful. The general manager Frank was amazing. He went out of his way to take us round the island and show us all the lovely spots. Had the most awesome stay and would recommend. Thank you to Frank, Mirium, Perier and all the staff working at the hotel. "

"Great hotel and the restaurant was outstanding. High recommend anyone who is looking to take the ferry to Messina the hotel is just a few steps away from the ferry option. Metro is close by for further discovery of the city. Hotel staff willing to assist and recommend. Outstanding crew!"

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"

"I tried to reached to them a week before my travel to get some information about the transport options to the hotel nobody responded i was already heading towards the hotel when i received an email in italian with useless information. On the day of arrival at reception they told me most of the facilities are closed including the restaurant none of this was mentioned while i made the bookings. The lady at the reception on 23rd around 13:30 while speaking to me in between exchanged words in her language with her staff member and both laughed and passed weird expressions which is very unprofessional and insulting to do to your guests. We went into the room noticed even the basic things are not in the room for a 4 star hotel. Only 2 water bottles in the fridge no kettle no tea bags no iron, Broken cupboards, Ants in the balcony, broken hair dryer, noisy Bed We asked them for extra towels 3 times finally had to get down and ask for 4 time.The AC was blowing air not cooling the room due to this my 1 year old got unwell and had temperature. I requested to make the AC work nothing changed. We went to speak at the reception and when we mentioned our baby is unwell they laughed at us at this moment we realised its a very unsafe place to stay.extremely rude and unprofessional staff worst hotel experience of my life.I had to leave the hotel and make another booking at a different place."
