""La collina" in the hotel name means "hill" and with this you end up with a great view from your balcony. "B&B La Collina del Sagrantino" is a recently built 2006 family villa with a flair of ancient architecture. The staff is composed of the owner family. The son, Stefano, and his mother greeted us when we arrived in the evening. They are quite friendly and provided us with a wealth of information. For the first morning we were provided free breakfast items to get us started....

The breakfast was beyond excellent. The home is elevate up on Montefalco, a very nice walled medieval village. From the patio one looks across a serene valley toward Assisi and Perugia. Staying here is a good reason to visit Italy again!"

She loves her patrons and gives great suggestions for restaurants and cities to visit.Unique in that there is a huge yard and apple olive and grapes.quite serene but only a few km from grocery stores and restaurants. "Our hosts Emanuele and Lori were so helpful and sweet. There was a bit of a mix up with Expedia confirming our reservation with Il Borghetto, so when we arrived, they were not expecting us and they were already totally booked. Emanuele was so kind to find us similar lodging for 2 nights, very nearby and he had us as his guests for dinner that evening to make up for Expedia mistake. We did stay 3 nights at Il Borghetto and is was very nice, comfortable bed, nice rooms and most delicious...

"This beautiful property set in the Umbrian countryside is the ideal base for exploring the gorgeous hill towns of Umbria. The rooms are large and elegant with balconies overlooking the pool and gardens with beautiful trees in the foreground and villages and churches beyond. The restaurant serves marvelous food and has a great wine list. We had four superb days here and highly recommend it to everyone. "

"Wonderful stay, friendly staff, beautiful hotel, fabulous breakfast (especially breakfast staff!). We are a bit hot natured & could not get our room to cool down even with the windows open. With no top sheet the comforter added more heat so our sleep was not the best. Comfortable otherwise."

"Situato in un borgo a 5 Km circa da Montefalco, raggiungibile in auto in 7 minuti, offre una residenza in appartamenti in un contesto rustico (tra vigneti ed uliveti) ma elegante, con una buona accoglienza. Coltivatori e produttori di olio e vino (sagrantino ed un ottimo grechetto), che è possibile degustare ed acquistare nell'azienda contigua. Piscina con splendida vista della valle verso Trevi."
