This property is at a great location but it just need some TLC. The staffing is not great and they have no amenities. No security and you park at your own risk.

The owner of this property should be ashamed. This place is outdated, dirty and has a damp and haunted atmosphere. I feel it mostly for the employees, they can only do with what they are given.

This is soooo old fashion, dirty,nasty, no hot water no towels, this is not a hotel, don’t know what to call it?? The only thing is the view of the strip and airport wasn’t too bad,otherwise I wouldn’t go back there not even for free ..this place is horrible.I paid for a king size bed and they gave me a full bed,, nasty and creepy.the pooi needs to clean

For someone traveling on my own, it was a great place to stay that was affordable while being very close in between downtown and the sangster airport. It would be a better rating if the loud music was turned off. Only reason Im saying this is if a family with children would ever arrive. Other than that good place.

THE PROPERTY REST PEACEFULLY IN THE HILLS OF MONTEGO BAY WITH A GORGEOUS MOUNTAINTOP VIEW OF THE OCEAN AND HIP STRIP...THE OWNER WAS VERY HOSPITABLE AND HELPFUL. SIDE NOTE TO ALL JAMAICA TRAVELERS, MAKE SURE TO BUY YOUR FAVORITE BOTTLES OF IMPORTED LIQUOR LIKE TEQUILA, VODKA, GIN, HENNESSY ETC.

The room has no cable tv, no AC and the driver warned us about the unsafe situation in the area. It is the hotspot for Yahoo boy( internet fraudsters) and drug dealers motel. Also, the big building you in the picture is not the big apple hotel. The big building is opposite to the so-called big apple hotel, so they are using that building to mislead people. The so-called big apple hotel is a small residence house, so don’t be fooled by the big building that they tend to show. It’s a bait and switch post. I had to check out after 30 minutes of checking in because of heat in the room.

She got a discount on top of a discount on the rooms she also got drinks for free. The room had no issues that wasn't addressed only issue was the hot water didn't work for 20 minutes that was the only complaint. We tended to all her needs. I feel horrible she feels that way. I spoke to her personally

Woke up to a bug crawling on the bed. Ants were on the wall the small tv sat on a little table leaning on a wall. The bed was a Full not a Queen and the bedding was old with a couple stains on the sheets. No blanket/comforters.The bathroom ok we killed bugs on the floor iand the wall the water in the sink we just let it run to get hot to wash our hands. The shower was so dirty and old. It looked like a gas station off a highway bathroom with a shower super small. It was the worst stay every in all my travels. I can't believe Expedia offers this I have pictures to show. We stayed one nit and checked in to our resort the very next day. I felt so dirty that next morning we slept with our clothing on and on top of sheets so not telling what was crawling when we finally went to sleep. The taxi driver warned us that itit's a place she wouldn't stay but we were thinking only one night. Never again and I do not recommend. The place had fake advertisements of a club VIP and restaurant. Neither it sits off a very busy road of traffic. No nothing else. Hopefully this helps others. No I do not recommend once again. It is not a over night stay place I am sure most would have check right back out after entering the room.. I honestly wanted my MONEY back and the taxi driver did not lie. She said if you want me to come back and get you text me. She had people do that before but wanted to be honest with us. It made me question Expedia No No No It was more but that should be enough

My daughter and I traveled a day early and although it was a last minute booking we enjoyed our stay. Major and the ladies at the hotel were very friendly and kind. Peppers Restaurant was the best recommendation that we could have ever asked for.

Horrible experience. This property is a roach infested dump with rooms with smelly sheets and towels and missing light bulbs. While staying at the Big Apple,I fell in a ditch in the driveway which was covered with mini pools of water with a foul pungent like odor. To top this off, I was fraudulently charged for two rooms when I only occupied one. I have been trying to rectify the fraudulent activity for nearly 2 weeks and each time the answer from Expedia has remained the same:"we tried calling the hotel but the manager is not available". As one who as travel the world I can without a doubt say that the Big Apple is the worst place I have ever stayed at. I felt very unsafe and disgusted by this filthy place.STAY AWAY unless who want to be charged for room(s) you did not occupy or you enjoy staying in filth!

The hotel has potential but the hotel needs upgrading. The rooms have a musty smell. It seems like the owner and workers stay on the compound. The water in the shower didn’t work. The shower have dead bugs. I was disappointed. We woke up to a knock at our door. It was a man asking for money. After that we left. We didn’t feel safe.

Good ocean view. The room toward Queens Drive is noisy with vehicle sounds all day and night. No wash cloth or towels were provided. The toilet and showers need upgrading. The toilet would not flush properly.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Horrible!!! I booked 2 rooms for 5 people. Called and confirmed my room the morning of and was told we would have our rooms available to us. I also messaged on Expedia about my arrival and confirmation and received a response just saying “ok”. Upon our arrival we were told that they were fully booked. How is that possible after my money was taken, phone calls was made, and message confirmation???? The big heavy man had me come to his office which stunk since he was in there smoking. He was very condescending me telling me I shouldn’t be so upset and to put my bag down to talk to him. He then said he only had one room that they don’t normally rent out. When we went to check it out it was disgusting! IT SMELLED OF MOLD AND MILDEW. No be talkative, the windows cannot be opened, and the fan that was on was producing zero wind. It was insulting to show ANY one that room. He also tried to question the validity of me calling in which I pulled out my phone and called the same number again, and when the front desk rang he just stared at me. ZERO stars and this venue should be shut down and renovated. Horrible service! They also just had random people in the lobby, in which I believed lived there. It was just a very suspicious venue.

First i must say i love the location and upon arrival the staff was very welcoming place very clean the room was comfortable and clean ac worked and tv also i am very happy with the services here and its very affordable given the fact its close to airport. Wifi and hot water also worked well ..i will definitely stay again

We apologize but that was the whole water line they cut off which is the main line. We run into these problems with government when in a third world country. We are sorry on behalf of the national water commission but every hotel on that strip share the same problems, which wasn't our fault

Budget hotel very close to the airport. The balcony had a gorgeous view of the ocean but the room was not in the best shape, for example AC didn't work so they gave us a fan. I would stay again in a pinch but wouldn't stay for holidays.

Checking in bad start up. The manager wanted to “ upgrade my room to a KING single toom asking for more money. I refused saying I already have a LUXURY king size room. Room status. Deplorable. No bed cover. The toilet was leaking feeling the bathroom floor of water which was spreading into the room. The shower floor was broken and patched with a pitiful ugly patch up. The shower was also leaking somewhere before the water hit the shower head. The room floor was somehow clean but dust in the corners. The balcony was probably never swept. In front if the balcony was a cement floor full of cigarette ends. Definitely a major NO NO.
