We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way from Rome to Monaco, this place, although only a few miles from the freeway, it is located on a mountain with narrow roads that take almost 40 minutes to drive. "Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much. The food was fab, the pool great and the pool side bar/restaurant top class. Really top class, but a bit old fashioned - which is fine if you don't want the latest guff. "
"When we arrived asked about parking. Told there was a location nearby but had to wait over an hour for somebody to arrive to show us where the location was. The space was an underground car space that was very difficult to park in as the space was very tight and had to reverse all way out up a ramp to get out of. On check out tried to charge us €20 for parking having mentioned nothing at check in. Advice park car nearby yourself"
