"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful always with a smile. Rooms were very large and comfortable, however bathroom was very tight relative to room size. A light in our room was not working, but it was fixed within a day. Enjoyed lounging in the beautiful common area which looked like it came out of a Restoration Hardware catalog. AC was adequate, but would have liked it a bit cooler. Understandable though because the temperature outside was very hot and we needed to keep our shutters closed during the day. Nice breakfast even with American coffee. All in all a great stay for our family."

"This property was in a beautiful location just outside of the town of Montepulciano. The room was perfect for us and our 15yrs daughter, including air conditioning (thank goodness as we had a major heatwave 40+ degrees!). The pool was also beautiful and refreshing, with large umbrellas, and a great view of town! We chose to include breakfast which was also wonderful. The young man at the front desk offered excellent suggestions for dinner in town."

"Flawless stay, absolutely stunning hotel and grounds, matched by wonderful attention from every member of the team who made our stay completely memorable. Room exceeded our expectations- spacious, cool and very comfortable, beautifully designed with gorgeous bed. We loved the breakfast options- hot and cold choices, including many homemade options which were delicious. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature, surrounded by nature- it was a perfect environment for us to relax and soak up the warmth. Genuinely sad to leave and already planning our return. What a fantastic hotel with wonderful staff who clearly love what they do. Cannot recommend highly enough!! "

"We had a fabulous 4 night stay in Primula room mid June. Comfortable bed, lovely big bathroom and a sweet little patio with table and chairs. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with all the info we needed. They also offered a simple Italian breakfast at just 5 euros each per day which we enjoyed every morning. Perfect stay."
