"What a delightful hotel this was. Wonderful location with an easy walk up into the cute town of Senetil de Bodegas. The staff were charming and we thoroughly enjoyed the super soze swimming pool in the pretty garden area. Definintely would stay again. "

"Pleasant rustic hotel in good location at side of lake, ample free parking. Room quite large with plenty of storage space. We booked room with lake view, can be noisy as this also looks over bar and restaurant. Breakfast adequate continental, dinner in restaurant very good. Downside is basic maintenance, worn lock on bedroom door, creaking doors, wardrobe door would not stay closed, toilet system flush required replacing, reported no WiFi in bedroom for 3 days finally working on day we departed."

"This is the best place to stay after busy and loud crowds of the city. Alfonso is the most gracious of hosts and has built a beautiful home with six guest rooms that each have their own bathrooms, all situated around an inner courtyard. Dinner was excellent…one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile. The room was comfortable and I loved the wooden shutters that blocked all the light out. Very peaceful and quiet. "This property sits overlooking a lake tucked into a mountain. Small but very nice. Staff are all helpful and accommodating. Only downside is if you have a room on the second floor it’s directly under the dinning area and can be a little noisy during dinner. "

"This place is awesome! The people are so kind and the rooms are super clean. Its so cozy and the beds are very comfy! Breakfast is very worth it as the food is fresh and tastes amazing. The fresh jam on buttered toast is one of the best things I have eaten! I 100% recommend it here! "

"The grounds of this property are beautiful and well kept. I felt like there could have been more information provided about the history of the buildings and location. The room was clean and decent but there was only one outlet on each side of the bed which had the bedside lamps plugged in so you had to choose between charging devices or a lamp (not the end of the world) the breakfast was lovely and we ate at the restaurant one of our two nights . The food was decent but not anything special. The location of the hotel is gorgeous and so much to do within a 10-15 minute drive. My only true complaint would be that the mattress was old and uncomfortable. If they upgrade that and possibly open a bar/lounge in the area they have appointed for it, as well as upgrade their existing food choices for the restaurant it would be a special place. Definitely not disappointed with my stay"

" My stay at this property was excellent! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the beautiful Sierra mountains. We used this charming spot as a stopover on our journey from Ronda to Seville, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The small village setting added a magical touch, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The local food was fantastic, showcasing authentic flavors that were a joy to experience. I would definitely look forward to visiting this place again in the future to explore more of its hidden gems. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, scenic beauty, and great hospitality!"
