"This is a well-run, friendly motel, conveniently located for getting around Monterey, over to Carmel, or almost anywhere else on the Peninsula. Our “partial Ocean-view” room actually offered a great look down at the bay. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would happily stay here again."

"Our trip felt even more special thanks to our stay at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa. The property is beautiful and made the overall experience shine. Although we had some difficulty figuring out the air conditioning and ended up staying up late trying to fix it (even watching YouTube for help!), we were still very satisfied with our one-night stay. We drove a Tesla and had to park a bit farther away to find charging, but the area felt safe and easy to walk around, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay."

"Room was small, but clean and cozy. I love the Spanish inspired details. There is ample parking space, pool, and a patch of grass to let your dog do its business. The inhouse restaurant was very lovely! It was very cozy, especially at night. They have a fireplace and some good music."
