"Wonderful for our group of 10! Plenty of space in the apartments for each family. The property is gorgeous and the kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception...

"A fabulous property - well appointed and equipped. Very modern, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our daily walks into Siena via the Porta Pispini. We would love to stay here again."

"This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning. "

"The pool was very nice overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The hotel has a nice ambience, rustic but very clean an updated. I like there were big windows that could open to a garden from the room. Getting around was a bit difficult even with a car. Very steep hills and is not so walkable. Very windy roads so it takes longer than expected to get to places. There are 2 nice villages very close by with different kind of restaurants. Barberino has stunning views. There is a walkable trail very close by a little creek but need to ask for directions, it's very secluded . The restaurant has really good food and service. Breakfast , very good, american style and italian.Perfect place for a honeymoon"

"Just a gorgeous restored historic property. The grounds are beautiful and amazing. While the rooms lack the latest/modern amenities (including AC), they make up for it with loads of character and charm and were perfect for our adult family of 4. Our stay was definitely an unexpected highlight of our 8 day Italy vacation"
