"After 9;00 pm there’s no one at the front desk to help you so I have to stay in other place that’s my only complaint, I have to say they did everything to make as feel like home after the incident, so thank you."

"Wonderful location and staff!! The oceanview is amazing from the hotel, and is very close to the waterfall. The waterfall is difficult to get to, no matter where you start, but worth the hike. "

"Very neat location back in the jungle - a bit of a walk from the main city center, but gorgeous beach access and darling bungalows. The food was ok- Spa service was overpriced for the treatment I received."

"This property is stunning, tucked away in the jungle, but still a (very) short walk to town and the beach. The pool is quiet, with monkeys and other critters to watch while you relax. Fabulous drinks and OUTSTANDING food. The staff was nice, accommodating and overall very friendly- we really enjoyed our stay here and will be back."

"Beautiful villas with the most beautiful view. The pool is magical, the patio areas the perfect place to look out on the ocean. The villas themselves are large and comfortable. Kitchens had everything we needed to make a meal. Highly recommend. "

"NO ONE should book this property.
We paid $2,600 for a week and ended up leaving on day one. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never once walked out until this place. I don’t even know where to begin.
Before you even get to the hotel, enjoy climbing up the disaster of a dirt road. It’s extremely steep and full of holes that will most definitely scrape the bottom of your car. I was really concerned for my rental. Driving up and down this road, especially at night, was a nightmare.
The room is tiny and poorly maintained. Firstly, there’s no lock at all. Literally anyone can walk in. The outdoor stairs separating the room and bathroom are extremely steep with no lights. Just hope you don’t need to use the bathroom at night or you’re screwed. WiFi barely works and constantly cuts out (and no service here otherwise). The only lighting you have in the bedroom is one tiny lantern - had to resort to using my phone flashlight. Also, the insect net is broken - enjoy all the bugs crawling in! No AC in the bathroom, so if you’re getting ready or changing, be prepared to sweat (since there’s no mirrors in the bedrooom). Cleanliness was unacceptable. The pillows had visible foot marks and the towels had dirt stains when we arrived. Instead of taking responsibility, we were told to bring the towels to reception ourselves if we wanted clean ones.
What made this worse was the complete lack of accountability. They refused to offer any compensation, support, or refund. Every "
"The property was absolutely perfect, private villa, amazing staff who were easy to contact with any needs. The location was great. The kitchenette was decent enough to get by however if we needed anything the staff helped promptly "
"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nya Hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and the restaurant staff is warm and welcoming, creating a cozy family atmosphere. The front desk staff is incredibly caring; when my daughter severely sunburned her hand, they promptly brought us medication. Even during rain, they kindly provided umbrellas at guests’ doors.
Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. However, I found the note from the cleaning staff requesting a tip a bit unnecessary. "
"This is a gem in Santa Teresa. The staff are all superb my kids loved the surf instructor (Diego is amazing) and I loved the morning yoga instructor (Daniella is superb) a great way to start your day and spend the whole day with attentive and professional staff. You will never regret staying here and the kids are already asking me if we can come back again next year. A brand new hotel who already have got it all together the small guest amenities (watermelon water throughout the property) and chic design work together with direct beach front property. It was hard to leave but we will definitely be back. Pura Vida, Team Fermata!"
