"Breathtaking tranquility. Balcony view from the room was gorgeous, high above the city. Pool was a plus for some exercise. Room was functional and cozy. Not much to do other than dining room and walk to the castle. You need a car or taxi to go up the steep hill to the Parador."

"Hotel Xauen is a gem in the center of Jaén. Come and check this hotel out. From the hotel you see spectacular views of the city of Jaen. This hotel’s bathroom was so clean and well put together that I actually could not leave without taking a picture of it. The staff at Hotel Xauen was courteous and professional. Thank you for a great stay"

"The hotel is situated in a popular tourist area. It was very clean and comfortable, with shops and historic landmarks just a short walk away. The breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was that the air conditioning cooled only one room, resulting in uneven temperatures between the two rooms."
