"Clean, spacious, good neighborhood"

"Your rating system only shows 4 or 5 stars and I'd give it a 4.5! We had a little issue with dampness in our room (I think the previous visitor caused some carpet flooding), which was instantly remedied as they changed our room. As for the hotel, the inner front courtyard and back courtyard/garden were a delightful retreat. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and delicious breads and baked goods. However, the shining stars of this hotel are the wonderful staff who were so welcoming, personable, helpful, accommodating and professional. This was such a positive experience, and if we stay in this area of Paris again we'd most definitely return to the Villa Modigliani. Once again, thank-you so much to the staff."

"This hotel was great for location. Centrally located. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Near lots of restaurants and walking distance to 4 metro stops. We traveled in summer and our room had an air conditioning unit. Now, with all that, because it is surrounded by restaurants, if you leave the windows open, the laughter from people having a good time may keep you up. Price you pay is fair, staff was super nice."

"We went during the European heatwave 2026 and Thank goodness was for the air conditioning as we were on the top floor and slept comfortably every night. Despite being next to elevator room was very quiet. Beds comfortable. Room was smaller, but reasonable. Water provided every day. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. Location for trains was great although we walked a lot. Restaurants around the corner were plentiful and mini market next door was small but convenient for a cheap nightcap. All in all, good stay for my family of four."

"Greta location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room did have a strong mildew smell. We didn’t realize how bad it was until we left and could smell the mildew smell on our clothing. Luckily for us we were heading somewhere that had a washer and dryer. I didn’t ask for a room change cause I over heard the front desk telling some that they were sold out and had no rooms available. The sheets and beds were clean same with the bathroom. I believe it was either the air conditioner or the carpet."
