staff were excellent and extremely helpful and all spoke english really well. rooms were well cleaned and looked nice. the hostel is right next to a tram stop so you can get anywhere in the city pretty easily. hostel is 5 minute walk from place de la comedie which has great restaurants and there are some convenience shops nearby for snacks and drinks. rooms were a bit cramped for 6 person dorms and no air conditioning, only a small electric fan, so it can get extremely hot. bunk beds were wooden boxes just under 2 metres length so if you are tall it will be cramped. on weekends the club next to the hostel and the people can get really loud so it was hard to fall asleep after 11:45pm.

Lovely hostel with friendly staff, clean and modern. At 5'9/175cm I did feel the bunks were a little short, as either my head or feet were constantly hitting off one side, so anyone over 6' might find this a bit annoying.

The hostel was really nice and the staff was super friendly. But don’t pay more for a women’s only dorm because I did and was still put into a mixed dorm.

Auberge de jeunesse où l'occupation du dortoir est optimisée au maximum ! Les lits sont empilés les uns sur les autres, on dort confiné dans une boite en bois. Une expérience dont aimerait bien se passer. Le nombre de personnes dans la chambre obligeant à dormir la fenêtre ouverte on se retrouve à 7h00 du matin à profiter du marteau piqueur ou bien de la sortie de la boîte de nuit à 5h30 du matin.

Le Maje semble vraiment top! Super déco, très propre et bonne ambiance. Les personnes à l’accueil sont très sympathiques aussi mais juste : ne prenez pas la chambre du rez de chaussée !! elle est très mal insonorisée et on a l’impression que l’on dort dans le hall d’entrée.

La réceptionniste a fait trop d'erreurs lors de check-in et n'était pas accueillant. l'ambiance de le maje n'est pas accueillante. il n'y a pas de tours, il n'y a pas d'endroit où les autres peuvent interagir les uns avec les autres. ça ne ressemble pas à une hostel. on se croirait dans un hôtel exigu et isolé

Ho soggiornato presso l'ostello Maje per 2 notti e mi sono trovata bene! Posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro, ma anche la stazione dei treni. La mia camera era da 6 persone, con due docce e un wc all'interno. Buona la pulizia e personale molto gentile! Consiglierei però di dare in prestito i lucchetti (magari chiedendo una piccola cauzione) piuttosto che venderli, e ancora di fornire almeno 1 asciugamano per la doccia.

Bonsoir, j'ai été très ravi d'avoir passé un agréable séjour avec cette auberge de jeunesse après c'est vrai il y a qui ne respecte pas l'hygiène des un et des autres mes dans l'ensemble ça va la propreté des locos et très bien entretenu et on il dort bien malgré que le soir ou je suis venu c'était très agité mes c'était dehors le bruit on va dire c'était les fêtards de la nuit, et je le recommande à d'autres personnes cette hôtel fin plus auberge de jeunesse que l'hôtel je compte il retourné très prochainement au mois de juin début juin.
