The hotel is a convenient location to see Old Montreal. The property is disjointed and our room was only accessible from a single elevator next to the restaurant and frequently the entire hallways stank like fish and there were workers taking carts through the narrow hallway that accessed the elevator. Our room was very dusty and only had one window that looked into an office building so we could never open the blinds. The bathroom was the nicest part of the room. The reception area and staff were nice, as was the spa. The area around the hotel is heavily under construction, with a lot of noise and dust during the day.

The hotel room was lovely, we had a corner king room on the second floor in building one. The only issue we had was a strong perfume type odour that was some sort of deodorizer or cleaner that they use when they refresh the room after use. Unfortunately, it did not dissipate until the next day which made it very difficult for me to sleep. It was the only thing I could smell. It was too strong. I mentioned it to the staff so that they could get it tamed down a bit.

Very large comfortable room. Great bed, sheets, pillows. Le Labo toiletries. Staff very nice, especially the concierge. Cons: heavy construction across the street from our room. Extremely loud, beginning at 7am. This will be going on for several months. Be aware and request rooms in the opposite side of the hotel.

This hotel was convenient to dining and shopping, had 2 restaurants attached to the hotel. The decor was up to date. Only suggestion I would have would be to add a bath bench to the shower. Would also like more a la carts menu items.

This hotel ticked all boxes and we will definitely be returning for future visits. Staff was most courteous, attentive & professional. The rooms were quite spacious & very comfortable. Our daughter had previously stayed at Hotel D’Armes & recommended it and it certainly exceeded our expectations❣️

Excellent place to stay, the entire staff was so helpful and friendly. The restaurants on site were all amazing. Location was perfect entire old Montreal was easily walkable and Chinatown as well. We definitely look forward to returning again.

This was the perfect place to stay in downtown Montreal. The location was great, and the facilities were lovely. Most of all, the service and staff were impeccable. We received great value for what we paid, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

The location of the property is ideal. We were upgraded to a larger room on the 5th floor on the rue Saint-Jacques and side, it was wonderful. It was spacious, nicely decorated and had a seating area and gas fireplace. We had no issues with heat or hot water as I read in some reviews. The down fall there is a club Lola, Lola, Lolita on rue Saint-Jacques and when it ends they all hang out in the street for hours and the noise level is insane and travels up to the room. It was not conducive for a good nights sleep.

Our stay at Hotel Place d’Armes was excellent. It’s centrally located and everything is at walking distance. The staff was friendly, the room (upgraded which was great) was large, comfortable and clean. We will definitely come back when we go back to Montreal.

The experience of staying at Hotel Place d'Armes in Montreal is nothing short of extraordinary. This centrally located establishment is in the heart of Vieux-Montréal, steps away from all major attractions. From the Notre Dame basilica to the fantastic boutiques and restaurants, everything is just a block away. The hotel's room, lobby, and dining areas are well-situated, clean, and beautiful, and the amenities are exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that your stay is pleasant and wonderful. The valet, greeters, receptionist, concierge, and maids all deserve a 5-star rating for their excellent service. This is truly the best hotel in Montreal!

I can’t think of anything more I could’ve wanted out of my stay at Hotel Place D’Armes. If and when I return to Montreal I will never stay anywhere but here. The staff, amenities, VIP perks were just a few positive points but the location was absolutely PERFECT!! I had the best stay here.
