Next to one main drive way with bus stop downstairs,thus no way to open window and sleep because crazy noise. Management has no sense to proactively help guest under this extreme weather condition. Das absolut Schlimmste hingegen war das Bett, eine unglaublich unbequeme Matratze und die absolut billigsten Kissen dazu. Und zu guter Letzt waren die Batterien der Fernbedienungen leer, TV schauen bei Schlaflosigkeit war also auch keine Option. "This was billed as a hotel and was not. Even the taxi driver could not find it! It is a tiny apartment next to the laundry room on the ground floor under a train trestle. And by the way, there is no air conditioning. The choice was to leave the windows open and deal with the noise of the train or keep the windows shut in the record breaking heat. "Loved the view from this property overlooking the lake. Would have like air conditioning. A warning to anyone washing their clothes in the on-site laundry. It automatically dispenses soap and even after washing out clothes a few times after it stank of the soap smell very strongly. It gave my wife a headache and eyes watered. We could not believe we could not get that strong soap smell out. My wife almost threw away her clothes that she has washed there. Again don’t use their onsite...

"Lovely three night stay. Hotel is old school but in a positive way. All the staff are very attentive and helpful. The public areas are immaculately maintained and our room was spotless. The hotel has direct access onto the lakeside promenade. It's a fifteen minute walk into the town centre and about 1 hour walk to Chateau Chllon."
