"Close to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean except for under the beds. Pillows were not that good. Check in was easy. No one there for check out. View from room was top of the pool roof. Hallways were clean. Common area/game room was nice. Did not use pool but looked nice. Would stay again."

"The pool, the business center, the computer, the ice machine, the vending machines were all out of order due to "maintenance". The sink in the kitchen of my room had no plumbing connected underneath, this must have been a known issue because the water was turned off. The man at the front desk was so difficult to understand and gave me a hard time checking in. The hot water in the shower only lasted about 6 min before running cold. The cable only had a handful of channels. "

"Staff entered my room without permission and without knocking. Just because hotel staff have keys does not mean they can enter a guest’s room whenever they want. Guest privacy should be a top priority for any hotel, and this behavior was completely unacceptable. In addition, I am still trying to receive the $150 USD cash deposit that I paid at check-in. When I went to check out, no staff member was available. I was told that if I wanted my refund, I should leave the key inside the room and wait until 8:00 AM for the office to open. This makes no sense. Guests may need to check out early, especially if they have other travel plans or bookings during the night or early morning. Hotels should have staff available to process check-outs and return deposits when guests leave. We could not wait until 8:00 AM because we had another trip planned. It was very frustrating that no one was available to assist us or return the deposit at that time. Overall, the lack of respect for guest privacy and the poor handling of the deposit refund made this a very disappointing experience."

"It was a great spot. Very beautiful and unique building and grounds. Lots of wildlife was seen, birds and deer. The rooms are spacious and unique, very clean. A well appointed kitchen for common use. Excellent value. We need to be in the Plattsburgh area again in a few weeks and have already reserved a room again. "
