"AC in the room would go off every time we opened the balcony door which is normal. However, it would not restart after closing the door. We had to call the reception every single time for them to restart it from their end. Our room did not get cleaned one day during our stay despite calling the housekeeping and had to ask one of the employees cleaning other rooms for clean towels, water, etc."

"I stayed here alone during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and all of the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. I didn’t experience any problems during my stay. The location is also great, within walking distance of Urla Sanat Sokağı. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but you can easily order food from nearby restaurants and have it delivered. The only area that could be improved is the internet speed, which could be a bit faster. Other than that, I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Gaia by the Sea is an enjoyable stay, but be aware that it is not exactly as advertised. I imagine five years ago, this was a beautiful property. Unfortunately, it has not been well maintained. Some of the amenities do not function properly and the area around the rooms has a lot of construction items left about. The pool in our room was not clean and not advertised as a jacuzzi. There is a service road between the main hotel and the beach and very loud wake surfing complex nearby. That said, the staff is very helpful and accommodating. They contacted us by WhatsApp many times to ensure we had what we need. Our Turkish breakfast was clearly left out of the fridge on two occasions and thus stale, but the staff replaced it when I raised concern. The sea is beautiful and warm. Overall, the stay was nice but honestly didn’t meet my expectations."
