The owners were very lovely and helpful and the room was a great size and very clean. The bed was ok but a little too firm for our liking (especially as my hubby needs a hip replacement) unfortunately no room service at the moment (can’t be helped and we do feel for them) as they had a fire in their kitchen a few weeks ago. Overall I would recommend this place and stay again

The first small room we were shown was not properly clean. Especially the bathroom. We were shown a second room, which was just the same. Then we were upgraded to an apartment which was much better and a great room. But all night we had a neighbour with a person coming and going until 1.30pm, speaking loudly, slamming doors. Unfortunately, the town seems to close down at 3pm!

The beds were clean and comfortable and perfect for our one night stay, however noticed a few cleanliness issues that would have bothered us if we stayed longer and needed to use the kitchen facilities. The drinking glasses in the cupboard were still wet and there was a small amount of food left in kitchen sink from the previous guests. Also a bug had been squashed on the wall near the main TV and not cleaned away properly.

The owner said the hair was from static. I normally find that's just from not handling things properly Second room no better. Rooms in desperate need of a deep clean and owners need to reengage or go

Upon arrival the female receptionist was on the phone. I wasn’t acknowledged and she carried on with her call. In the room one of the drawers had the disconnected smoke alarm, another a packet of coles chips. Not enough linen in the room, had to request more towels. Male receptionist was more than helpful with towel request and dinner reservation. Unfortunately we became rather I’ll during dinner and ended up only ordering a side dish for myself and nothing for the two children, my husband ate a meal. It was rather uncomfortable and although I can’t explain I got the feeling the staff were not impressed. KFC wrapping and rubbish we’re strewn around the grounds of the pool and the staff were sitting around in a large messy looking room on our arrival. Overall a fairly disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend this place on. Smoke alarm is a real worry’
