"What a gorgeous property. Spa options are amazing. The wine and port tasting was top-notch. With only one night, we really did not get to experience all of it. I would recommend at least two. Coming in September or October during the winemaking season would be fantastic. The staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable and helpful"

When we ran into an issue with a driver pickup, she stepped in and handled it with genuine care and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make things right, and it turned what could have been a frustrating moment into one of the best service experiences we've ever had at a hotel. If you stay here, you're in great hands. Thank you, Cecilia, and the entire team, for taking such good care of us. And the breakfasts were awesome too."

"This is by no measure a 5-star property, but a well used 4-star facility. The upkeep is not really up to par, with mold in the bathroom, bathroom doors peeling severly due to water damage, stained towels etc. The breakfast is fine, but, again, not up to 4-star standards (including 5-star hotels in Portugal). The common spaces like the dining room show extensive damage due to use (and lack of maintenance?) and there's peeling paint in the hallways. However, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the price we paid in mid-May (around 150 € per night) was right for a 4-star place."
