Had a great night stay here, good was ok too. Clean and comfortable and really attentive service. The only downside is the noise from the road through the night / early morning there seems to be a fair amount of lorry traffic going by which is very noisy. Tea & Coffee facilities in the room but no milk which we had to go and ask for (not ideal when you want an early morning brew)

Centrally located pub for getting to nearby towns (Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold). 10 mins walk to Batsford Arboretum or drive if you don't want to walk up the hill on the way back. Good for dogs, bridleway path 100yds away. 24hr garage nearby. Its owned by Butcombe, a great brewery! Enjoyed our stay and the food is pretty good too!

Enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at the Horse and Groom . The room was lovely and spacious and cleaned to a good standard. The pub has a lovely large beer garden for drinks and food. We ate once and the food was good . Breakfast was included in the room rate and was also good . The staff were friendly and helpful . Lots of lovely villages and towns are nearby but a car is needed. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived on a lovely day. Lots of parking. Nice welcome from the manager. Check in easy and manager to us to our room Spacious and quirky styling - We liked it. Good sized bathroom and shower was good. The bed was a little hard for my taste but I fell in love with the window seat and the beautiful views. Good choice of teas hot drinks. Water was free. Menu choices are great, varied and different. Bar snacks gorgeous. Small number of friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable straight away. Great breakfast too. Place of a lovely old inn and west z& rear showing. Some parts of our room needed attention (decor) but otherwise lovely. Will definitely visit again

Very pleasant 4 night stay in a comfortable room at the back of the hotel with direct access to the garden and car park. Staff were very welcoming and they serve an excellent breakfast. Dinner menu is a bit limited but good quality.

All great just pillows uncomfortable and due to window not being able to fully seal shut some road noise plus vibration noise from kitchen but appreciate not really avoidable. Staff very attentive and polite.

Lovely Location, Staff and Inn
The Horse and Groom is in a great rural location. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. We also had dinner and breakfast which were both great. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been helpful would have been to give warning about the road works requiring a diversion to the H&G.

Pleasant 2 night stay
Had a very pleasant 2 night stay. Unfortunately booked for Monday & Tuesday, when the restaurant is closed so we didn’t dine. Matt welcomed us and gave us details of some local dining options. It is on a busy road and the traffic noise is quite loud, slept with earbuds. Nice room, clean, bed was comfy. Staff very friendly and the cooked breakfast was great😀

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and cooked to order. We were on family visit so were using 3 of the 5 rooms in the pub.

Never stayed here before so always ups the anxiety levels before arriving but overall we were happy with our stay. There was a few minor issues like lack of working light bulbs in our room and the breakfast service was slightly slow for our liking, also our room was directly above the kitchen so once the kitchen extractor started for breakfast, there was no chance of a lie in! To balance this, the staff were lovely and always helpful, we ate there both evenings of our stay and the food was very good. The actual building itself was quinessential old country inn, the garden looked great for the warmer months and the location is great for exploring the Cotswold. Would defintely recommend

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the horse and groom and we absolutely loved it. The room was lovely and clean. Restaurant and bar on site with delicious food. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway!
