"The bedding couldn’ve been better, it felt like there was sand on them each time we layed on them even though we never brought sand onto the bed. Overall it was a good enough hotel for the few days we were there but the bedding was the only bad part."
"I was extremely disappointed with the condition of this room and the lack of support during my stay. The room was clearly not properly maintained or cleaned before check-in. The refrigerator was dirty, the windowsills were covered in dirt, and there was rust on the door hinges, metal shelves, and even inside the bathtub. The blinds were broken, and two of the bunk beds were missing screws, which felt unsafe.
There were also multiple maintenance issues throughout the room, including peeling paint, paint patches ripped from the walls, black marks around the door handle, and an air conditioner filter that clearly needed cleaning. To make matters worse, the smoke detector needed a new battery and was not properly maintained.
One of the biggest frustrations was that the office is closed on weekends, so there was no way to get assistance or report issues during most of the stay.
Overall, the room felt neglected, poorly maintained, and far below acceptable standards. I would not stay here again unless major improvements are made."
"Beautiful location, but the experience did not match the price point or expectations. Our room was directly next to weddings every night of our stay, with events taking place literally outside our window, and we were never warned. The weddings also precluded us from using the rooftop, and resulted in the restaurant and bar being closed intermittently for many meals over the 4 days. The room setup also does not work for a group — only one real bed, extremely uncomfortable pull-outs, poor pillows, and a bathroom door that didn’t fully close or lock. We ultimately had to book a second room ourselves after asking staff to notify us if one became available. Disappointing overall, especially given the cost."
"First time at the Watercolor Inn, celebrating our 21 year anniversary. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a piece of cake to celebrate. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, helpful and amazing. The turndown service was top notch. We will definitely be back."
"Great location. Very cute. Called and emailed when we were on the way asking if we could check in early. Never got a response. There was an issue with the toilet that was addressed but the handle is very hard to flush. Worried it was going to break but it survived. Enjoyed our stay very much. Only complaint was the wifi passwords would not connect. Need better instructions. We couldn't use the TV. Otherwise good experience. Very convenient spot."
