"The property was beautifuly landscaped. There are 2 Hot tubs available 1 salt water and 1 chorine so I thought that was great. A Beautiful River was in the back of the property which was absolutely terrific for photos not to mention a covered bridge. Just a beautiful area in general. Bikes to use on the walking path which also just off the back of the property. "

"It was my first visit to Stowe; I was there for a family wedding at another location. The room was comfortable and provided all that I needed. I would have enjoyed having decaf coffee available in the room as there was only regular. I took the Trapp Family History tour just up the road and can highly recommend it! Lots to see and do within short distances. A great weekend!"

"My son and I travelled for a week through New England hiking, and none of the hotels we stayed in showed as much hospitality as the owners of the Smuggler's Notch Inn. Pat welcomed us when we arrived, gave us info on where we could get dinner (the attached Village Tavern was great), and our bedroom with attached bathroom was charming and comfortable. The icing on the cake was a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast by Pat's husband before we set off to hike Mount Mansfield. I would book there again "
