The hotel was a good place to stay within a convenient walking distance of the centre (restaurants, shops, activities). The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, even helping us out when our hire car had a tyre pressure warning light. An excellent breakfast was provided though full restaurant facilities were not available in the summer owing to difficulties hiring staff. The décor might benefit from an update but our room (no. 5) was perfectly adequate, clean, comfortable and had a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. We would stay at Le Soly again.

Stayed for L’étape as were a few others staying. Breakfast put on at 4am for us and so accommodating having somewhere for the bike and looking after us!

This hotel is excellent value. Staff are really nice and friendly, all areas are clean and tidy, bathroom recently renovated, shower lovely and hot, great ski storage room. A short 5-10 minute walk to the village centre. Could not fault this place, thinking of returning in the summer. Thanks for a great stay.

End of ski season solo weekend.
A solo ski weekend . Nice and quiet at the end of the ski season . Great breakfast with loads of fruit . I like a healthy breakfast . The bus stop for the Pleney lift was just metres away . Price was very competitive.

A great stay, the couple running the hotel went above and beyond and collected us from the lift when the busses stopped running unexpectedly one evening. Great breakfast too and a really nice family vibe.

Homely hotel
Friendly english speaking staff. Hotel is excellently situated close to the ski bus, and is a 10min walk to the heart of Morzine. Our room was homely, but in need of modernisation, although this in no way detracted from a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Morine, and if possible, ask for a room with a balcony, which overlooks a delightful stream to the rear of the property.

Great hotel, short walk to free bus service into Le Plenny lift area, staff very friendly and helpful, family run hotel so nothing was a problem, food was excellent both breakfast & dinner, room was very clean, beds comfy, bathroom had both bath & shower, room was warm with a balcony view. Overall very happy with our stay, recommended

Great little hotel
Had a lovely little stay at this hotel for a couple of days, great setting, close to town, brilliant breakfast, nice little garden and pool. Couldn’t fault it really, also a great little games room and TV room so you had somewhere to chill out when the weather wasn’t brilliant.

L’Hôtel Ski-oly.
Great little hotel in perfect location. Walkable to town but not bang in centre. Close to ski bus stop. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Start of ski season stay
Hotel is nice, rooms are on the smaller side. Only issue was that the bed/mattress is rock hard and there was only one very thin pillow each resulting in poor sleep. Only one night stay - not sure I could have managed two in that bed with those pillows.

Basic noisy hotel
Very noisy! Both guests and housekeepers slamming doors, no consideration given that not everyone is up at the crack of dawn. The main staff seemed nice but there was one girl who wouldn’t even say hello and actively ignored us, very rude.

Lovely family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms. Hot water for baths. Delicious breakfast lots of choice. Fondue evening delicious. A short walk to the bus stop,allowing for easy access to the ski lifts.

New Year Morzine Group
Very basic and immaculately clean hotel. Beds are quite small and I’m only 5ft 9ins. Good location 10 min walk to Plenny ski lift and centre of town. The staff were all very nice but it did feel a little like you were intruding at times so a bit weird. Good choice of breakfast. Good budget hotel

Great little family run hotel!
Very friendly, family run hotel, in a great location, the bus stop is almost outside which will take you to the cable car for Le Pleney, or to Avoriaz (the bus is free of charge!) Morzine centre is only a short 5-10 minute walk away, the hotel is spotlessly clean, they serve a great breakfast (hot and cold) to set you up for a day in the mountains! (The friendly staff were always available & helpful when needed (on our arrival night we were very late and a note was left out for us, and another day we needed something printed out, nothing was a problem for the staff) it has the personal touch, which is sometimes lost these days!) we had a room with the river running past which was lovely! We will certainly return for another skiing trip!

A really helpful and welcoming young couple.
this is a typical Alpine ski hotel , though I was there for downhill biking. I had issues with my car and they were most helpful in storing my car based possessions whilst it was being repaired. Breakfast good. Loved the river sounds in the room:)

Charming 2 star family run hotel - very good value with excellent 5 course evening meal on a half board basis. Good choice of food at breakfast also. Room was comfortable and clean, furnished in a chalet style. Well located just a minutes walk from ski bus stop with buses to all ski areas. Room with balcony adjacent to/overlooking a bubbling river which was very soothing.

Great little chalet, close to the center
Fab chalet, owners were so friendly and accommodating. Room 18 has brilliant views of the river and is at the end of the corridor-so is nice and quiet. Brilliant location, would definitely stay again.

Reasonable location, friendly place to stay
Idesl for our purposes. Stayed 1 night with a friend this year for our annual 'one day ski trip'. Friendly welcome, nice breakfast, clean and reasonably comfy hotel. Not particularly modern but functional and will probably go back for a boys trip another year.

Typical French/Swiss family run style chalet in a great position for town center. Stopped for 2 nights to see family on route to Italy. Room was an adequate size with a balcony overlooking the river. Food served was excellent, with the staff being helpful, courteous & friendly. The only negative being the room is ready for re- decoration. When I am in the region again I will look to book here first, most enjoyable short stay.

Nice hotel conveniently located
I have stayed in this hotel before and was happy to return. It is only a few minutes walk to the Pleney gondola station and to the bars in town plus is very close to a bus stop for the navettes to Avoriaz or Pleney. I stayed on a half-board basis and enjoyed the restaurant food.

Lovely hotel
Such a great hotel - really helpful staff, great location, delicious breakfast! Our bathroom smelled slightly of smoke (as did the corridors!) but otherwise everything was fantastic. The owners were very accommodating and let us leave our bags, shower etc when we had a late check out. Would definitely return. Great value for money .Our room had a spacious balcony and looked over the river; gorgeous!

The hotel is very well situated near to bars and restaurants, just a 10minute walk to the Pleney lift. There is a bus stop to take you to other resorts within 1minutes walk. The staff were extremely polite and attentive. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and as much as you want. The only thing letting the hotel down is that the room decor is very dated. Having said that the room was still comfortable and clean with plenty of hot water for a long hot shower and beautiful views from the patio windows.

Good, clean hotel with pleasant staff
This is a nice, clean hotel. It's not the most modern and it's certainly 'no frills', and it has a slightly dated feel. However, we found very helpful staff, a very clean room, and a good breakfast - and all at a reasonable price. If you're using a sat nav. to locate the road on which the hotel is located, after going through Morzine and reaching the road itself at a roundabout, the hotel is to the left, down the hill. If you turn right, you quickly get into a fairly narrow road with not much sign of life!

A warm welcome for a cold hotel.
I was warmly welcomed, but overall was disappointed by this budget hotel. All the radiators were just warm and the hotel was generally cold. The pillows and duvet were thin. Hardly any guests were in the dining room for an evening meal.
