"Nice 1-night stay. Check in receptionist was super friendly and made the checkin quick and easy. Rooms kinda of small but clean. There was a weird smell in the hallway, not sure what it was. Difficult parking if you are arriving late. Checkout receptionist was on her personal cell phone. I approached the desk to check out, stood for a second and she said “Yea”….. I immediately I thought she was talking to someone on the phone, told her I was checking out of my room. There was no greeting, no “thank you for your stay”. Nothing! If I chose to stay again, I would leave the keys in the room and not check out at the front desk. Breakfast was decent."
"The girl that checked us in was overboard on everything. I remember she checked us in last year on our stay. She wanted a list of all the adults names in each room. I accidentally wrote them backwards (one was 2 queens and one was a king) and she acted like it was the end of the world that I did it wrong. Why is it anyone’s business anyway? She could clearly see we had 3 adults split into two rooms. Weird. And after driving all day we weren’t up to a 10 minute Check in"
"The stay was good . We stayed in the executive suite the layout was nice. When it can to the tub the water ran so slow it took like a hour to get it filled, The pool was super cold,The Wi-Fi didn’t work to the tv,and we couldn’t watch the game. But the room was nice and the staff was pretty good."
"There was a brown substance on the doorframe of my hotel room bathroom to start. I wiped it off and prayed it wasn’t what I thought it could be. The next morning the ceiling was leaking. I called the front desk and notified of the leak and asked if I was on the top floor because it was raining and I was told no. I requested a different room and was told maintenance wasn’t here yet. I was told I would have to go down to the desk to get a key. I wasn’t presentable at that point so I said I’m just going to get in the shower. While I’m in the shower, maintenance and the manager came in my room! I yelled, EXCUSE ME!! I’m in the shower!!! Get out! The manager told me we had to check there was no flooding because she was told there was a flood in my room. I never mentioned a flood only the ceiling was leaking. I asked why didn’t you go to the floor above me and check that room, the manager replied that we wanted to see if you were flooding. I said well, it would make better sense to get yo the room and find out where the water is coming from so you can stop it. When maintenance finally came back I asked if I was in the top floor and sure enough I was which meant the roof was leaking. Do the front desk and including the manager didn’t know my fourth floor was the top floor and there is not another floor above me??I have pictures of the room ceiling leak and also how awful the walls in the hallways looked. Also the air wouldn’t regulate and I was cold the bedspread had a big yellow st"
"We had two rooms, check in was smooth (Except wrong key in wrong folder..). One room was very good. The second one was dated and several bugs were noted. Great location."
"The door on our room would not lock and the door wouldn't stay shut. We were told to just push it really hard to keep it closed then lock the deadbolt. We were moved to another room after asking if we could just have a room with a sofa bed. I wouldn't stay here again."
"The evening staff seemed very unaware of places for dinner in downtown Laurel. We spoke to the morning staff and they were beyond helpful! Named the places to eat and where they were located. Told us what times their hours were and what they served. They also gave the names of tours to take and prices. I think the staff needs to have a list or better educated on what is in downtown Laurel."
