"I really liked the staaf, they were very helpfull and friendly.
The room was basic but nice and clean. The area around the hostel felt really poor and insafe at night, so we stayed in the hostel during that time of the day."

"The breakfast was the best I've had in 2 weeks in South Africa. They made a three egg omelet to my specifications and had fresh fruit, excellent toast, yogurt, and coffee. My room had a view of the bay and I could partially see the harbor below. The property itself is in an upscale neighborhood, on top of the tallest hill above the harbor. My room had a balcony where I could sit out at night and see the city lights. The room was good size and had a load bathroom and was nice and clean. The owner obviously has a attention to details."
"The room was beautiful and the property was so charming! Easy check in and check out. The views were lovely and the breakfast out on the terrace was so nice. Victoria was such a pleasant and kind person. Thanks for a great stay! "
"Betty’s Boutique is a lovely building with quirky rooms and several communal areas to sit, including two bars and a lovely garden. We stayed in the Spa room which was nicely decorated and comfortable with a big bath & separate shower. The room had all the necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. Marcia gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. We decided after a long drive to stay in for dinner and had the lasagna & garlic bread which was delicious. Marcia was more than happy to serve us an apple crumble afterwards even though we hadn’t ordered one. Betty’s Boutique is on the hill so it is a bit of a trek to get to town, however there’s plenty of parking in town and Ubers are readily available and good value. We would definitely recommend a stay at Betty’s Boutique. "
"To our surprise, the property was Excellent! We didn't expect much, as this was a quick stop, on our way back to Port Elizabeth, from Cape Town. It was a perfect stop for an overnight stay. However, when we arrived, we were surprised to find out that there was a casino connected to the property and the place was fully guarded and protected. We felt 100% safe. The place appeared to have been built fairly recently. Bravo! The service as a bit spotty. The front desk individuals appeared a bit aloof, but the property was beautiful. Nice pool as well, which was right outside our windy and easy to get to.
We will return, if in the area once again. "
"The accommodation was great; plenty of space for 3 of us, clean and comfortable. Good shower. Beautiful view over the bay. Really welcoming hosts and friendly staff. Free off road parking. "
