We had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Sansui. The hospitality was truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. We especially loved the traditional atmosphere of the ryokan, which made the experience feel very authentic and relaxing.
The onsen was a highlight of our stay—peaceful, clean, and a perfect way to unwind after a day of travel. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained, and the overall ambiance was calm and serene.
This was a memorable experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a traditional Japanese stay. Thank you to the team for making our visit so special—we would love to return again

The entire Roykan was very clean and comfortable. The staff was personable and we had the best time getting to know them and their families. They all were extremely kind and we were most thankful for their friendship.

Very nice onsen, the baths were very comfortable and the outdoor baths were very relaxing. The rooms were big, the personal onsen overlooking the nature was very nice. Would recommend this place, highly.

Clean room! Staff were great! Their spa is sort of tattoo friendly. They will allow tattooed people into their spa area as long as it’s covered. We brought our own tattoo patches to use but they also have them for sale 220 yen per patch.

Two blocks from the train station and the bus terminals, very easy to take a day-trip. The hotel is big and the room is spacious, much large than a typical Japanese hotel's. It is in the area with many restaurants.
