The manager and the staff was rude and the staff is sitting in the lobby and watching everyone that what they are doing, must say the level of privacy was not high.

Hi, I'm Sorry you found our managers to be unfriendly. We have had nothing but good comments from other guests. Unfortunately at this time of Covid 19 we need to make sure all protocols are followed. This includes making sure every guest signs in on the attendance record and the Victoria contract tracing app. I do apologize if this made you feel unwelcome but it is something we all need to do. I hope your stay was otherwise pleasant.

Lovely lodge members, fantastic lodge manager. Facilities are dated but the cleaniness makes for it. Really enjoyed our stay :)

It’s clean. It’s not too far from the Village. I like there’s a kitchen for everyone to use.

Holiday Disaster
Word of Warning! If you're a family who wanted a good holiday, you better look somewhere else. We are a family of 8, paid top $$$ to this lodge. We're expecting to relax & have fun but ended up having a bad experience here.We experienced being made fun by 4 drunk blokes who are starting trouble to one of our family member,it could get more worst if we didn't call the managers Rhys & Jenna as they are not aware of the trouble thats happening. We also had trouble with 2 girls pulling out our laundry in the middle of the washing cycle, its in the basket, it stunk and dripping wet (never heard people can jsut do this),It ended up that these 2 are friends of one of the Manager Jenna. When we asked them why did they do that, Maddi said it's their privilege to use the laundry as members of ski club,I wondered, we're guest who paid in full & didn't know that members have rights to pull our your laundry in the middle of the cycle. The laundry is the part of the package & one of the reasons why we chose to stay here, but never thought they'd be rude people like this.I ended up rewashing our clothes,I was stressed rushing until the last minute of our check out. The managers didn't even apologies or said anything at all.They thanked everyone else by us.We are saying this as so no one would experience what we had.The place is near the attractions & have a very basic breakfast but we will never ever forget this bad experience we had in this lodge.Place could be perfect with good Management

Hi Jane I am sorry that your stay was disappointing. Normally we don’t have any problems or issues as see by our other good reviews both on this website and other sites. Its unfortunate that other guests treated you unkindly but am please to hear that our manages were approachable and resolved this issue for you. Our small laundry facility is not used by most guests staying 1 to 4 nights. The laundry is shared by all and unless you are there to empty your completed load it is reasonable to expect someone else to place your completed laundry in a basket so they can use the washing machine. Thank you for taking the time for your feedback

Nice lodge, closer to bus stop
The room is clean and comfortable, and most importantly the heater is functioning, especially in this winter time, not only in the room but also in bathroom as well. The owner is very friendly and we did enjoy a lot during the stay. Definitely will recommend this lodge to friends.

Hotel clean and comfort.
Hotel very near to the village square, also having shuttle service to the hotel toward to ski school and village. Manager Shane is a friendly man, help us anything we want.

Warm and cozy. Close to shuttle stop. Great kitchen facility with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space to bring your own food, large fridge shelf and cupboard allocated to room in kitchen. Clean rooms with big double cupboard. Comfy beds. Clean warm share bathroom, warm water. The lodge was full when we were there and we never once had to wait for a toilet or shower. Friendly managers. Good board/ski store. Handy warm drying room for outer clothing. Lockers for valuables. Quiet times from about 10pm-7am which was great as we were traveling with kids. No shoes to be brought inside, which kept it clean, so bring slippers. If you don’t mind sharing facilities, then book it for sure. We can’t wait to stay again.

Good spot BUT
Pros - We were able to check in early (thanks to good timing) - Good spot - walking distance to village centre - Nice manager and Mrs. They were able to help with a few things - Breakfast included (toast and cereal) which was fine - cheapest I could find on the mountain Cons - NO LOCKS ON YOUR ROOM DOOR - purely for this I wouldnt stay there again. No way to secure your belongings in your room. Spent the whole time wondering if anyone was going to steal my belongings. - kids being noisy and we even heard them say "go into that room, they aren't here at the moment anyway". - strip your own bed and empty rubbish before you leave (bit of a downer on service)

First time to Mt.Buller.
Terama ski lodge is a very nice and comfortable lodge. The central heating is a godsend. Chris the host/manager is very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lodge to anyone looking for quality and inexpensive accommodation on Mt.Buller
