"We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Mondial, the Family Rooms on floor 4 were clean and tidy with lovely balconies. The road outside is very noisy, but the insulation blocks a lot of it. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Central location, about 20min walk to the Square. Rooms were also spacious. We didn't have a smoke smell which I was worried about, and the staff pointed out it was no smoking on arrival which was great too. Little bit of noise from bar above on one evening (music) which finished at 11pm on the dot."

"Relaxed, self check in. Keys were left downstairs. Quickly responsive. All my questions were answered via WhatsApp, before and while I was there. There's only an airport shuttle if you stay for 3 days or longer. My room was above the restaurant, so I had to close my window. So, I only ended up 1 mosquito bite. Haha. The hotel is off of a main street. A bus runs often. 40 lek to ride, takes you into the city center and you can also connect to another bus to get you to the bus terminal, to take a bus to the beach. Grocery store, coffee shops and bakeries are all within a 5 minute walk. Only met 1 hotel staff. Very sweet older lady! Verbal language was an issue, but communicating was not. Would definitely stay here again!"
